I had my air conditioner cleaned and technician Eric B. was excellent! While waiting for my air conditioner to kick in he offered to fill my water softener with salt. I was so appreciative of this kind gesture and it reconfirmed why I chose to buy my new furnace and air conditioner from B&D!

They were helpful in fitting us in on short notice. The plumber was friendly and confident in his knowledge. The price felt a bit high for the project, but with an active leak, we didn't want to spend too much time shopping around for other bids.

Our technician was great. He was on time and quickly identified the problem as a leaking refrigerator, which surprised us since we had seen no water by or under the appliance. He charged us a nominal fee since we need to find someone else to repair the refrigerator since the problem is the unit itself and none of the connections.

Plumber also recommended to renter to have valve in Shower replaced. I reluctantly agreed to it after he said it was going to "explode any day and cause a major flood". He replaced it - charged $2500 for all of the work and didn't install it correctly. So his work did cause a major flood with damage. B&D took 3 months to fix the ceiling. The contractor B&D used to fix the drywall and ceiling was shady and would send uncomfortable texts at odd hours. Awful experience.

I thought the plumber would have the fairly standard unit I needed. He didn't, so to get it fixed I went to Home Depot and bought a good replacement while plumber removed the old unit. That worked well and he said I saved a couple of hundred so, good. I haven't paid yet, because he needs to get new seats for the old bathroom sink faucet that has a very slow leak. Need to finish that part or just call it a project and take care of the bathroom later.

First time I've used B & D, and it couldn't have gone better. I solicited bids, and one company simply said the humidifier couldn't be repaired and would need to be replaced for $700. Meanwhile, B & D called me about 20 minutes after I solicited quotes, said they could have someone out on this below-zero day, and gave me a reasonable trip charge that would be applied to the price of any work that would be done. They gave me 2-hour window, during which Drew showed up as promised. He took a look at the humidifier and said it could be cleaned out and made operable again (It hadn't been cleaned in 17 years because we weren't told it was supposed to be). He gave me a very reasonable price ($190). I then asked him if he could tune up our furnace, which he did. The total price was $350 because I was automatically enrolled in their "Home Care Club," which gives us priority when we call them for repairs and eliminates the emergency surcharge for calls for repair at any time on any day. A great deal! Drew was very friendly, professional, courteous, and efficient. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Definitely will use B & D again.

B&D submitted three different bids based on features/add-ins, etc. Very easy to work with. Professional and friendly. Responded promptly. When plumbing vent on the roof could not be installed in January, they returned in April to complete the project. Did not have to remind them! Very happy! Would not hesitate to call again!

I placed a voice mail on their off hours "emergency" line. I had to call again after the business day started to get a response. They were onsite within three hours of that call, quickly got my furnace started in sub zero temps and made a recommendation to replace the furnace. They furnished two competitive quotes. I had to request a written invoice of the services rendered. They have room for some improvement with regards to follow thru service, but I am satisfied with the repair and the cost of that repair.

i needed the work done quickly since my daughter was coming home and would need access to her bathroom. The work was scheduled quickly and met my needs. The work was done professionally and quickly. The price was higher than I expected for the work that was being done. I did get an estimate once they were on site, but I really had no choice to but to accept since I needed the work done that day or the next. The cost was $379 for the work after the Angie's List coupon and it maybe took them 20 minutes to take off the old fixture and put on a new one.
