We have used Snyder Electric since 1988 for our electrical needs. This last service was provided by David. He was thorough, diligent, and persistent in diagnosing, finding, and repairing an inoperable doorbell. We highly recommend Snyder Electric.

They were very professional and showed up on time. The person who came out was very nice and friendly. They were very honest and communicated very well with me. They told me exactly what they were doing and exactly how long it would take and they were right on. They were the lowest price of all of the companies that gave me a quote and I was really happy with their service.

They are very thorough, prompt, consumer friendly, clean, and they are reasonable. They won't make up jobs just to take your money. They do excellent work. They are there to do a decent job. They gain business by being honest, ethical and knowledgeable.

Service was prompt and while there were only a couple outlets that needed repairs, electrician happily agreed to check all outlets since I had to pay for an hour and the work only took a few minutes.

It went very well, and did what I expected.

The phone was answered immediately when I initially called. The individual I spoke with asked in-depth questions regarding my issues and promptly scheduled a time for repair. They exceeded my expectations when they were able to arrive at an earlier day and time due to another job ending early. I can not comment on the cost because I have not yet received a bill.

They are the best. I have had used them before. When I moved in to my house, one of the electricians came in and put an outlet in the bathroom; the bathroom did not have an outlet before. I had a new dishwasher installed. As it was an old building and an old dishwasher, I found that I had to have an electrician to do some wiring work. The installer told me that he could do the work only after the electrical work was done. He told me that if I could get an electrician immediately, he could finish the installation by the end of the same day. I had taken a day off from work to get the installation done. I was not sure if I would get an electrician to come out in a short time. So, I called this company and explained my dilemma to them. They sent out somebody within half an hour to work on the wiring. I called the installer, who installed the dishwasher. I think this company is great. I will use them again in the future.

We have used Snyder a couple of times and have been very pleased both times. The first time we used them, they installed a new chandelier we had bought and then when the electrician was here we asked him to change out one of our wall sockets, which he gladly did. The most recent time we used them, we had them install an exterior outlet and change out an electric baseboard in our master bedroom. He worked quickly and efficiently and we are very pleased with the results. I also asked him to look another outlet that wasn't working and he took time to take a look and explain to me why it wasn't working. He did leave the face plate off, but that isn't a big deal at all (in fact I'm almost embarrased to mention it!)

We have used Snyder Electric for our routine electrical needs for several years. Setting up the appointment was easy. The electrician was on time, and the work was completed in a very timely manner. He was friendly, professional, and courteous.

Bob was our serviceman & he was absolutely outstanding in diagnosing the problem, explaining the options for correction, & keeping his schedule commitments. We were in a hurry to repair due to a scheduled trip & repairs ended up requiring 3 visits. Extremely satisfied with service, resolution, & price! Highly recommend.

I was having a new dishwasher installed, but when the installer removed the old dishwasher, he said he couldn't install the new one as it had ti fit flat to the back wall and there was a conduit pipe with the wiring sticking out about six inches from the wall. He left the new dishwasher and told me when the wiring was finished he would come back and install it. I called Synder Electric and they had someone to my place within the hour. He rewired for the new dishwasher. this was all done in a very timely and professional manner. I didn't expect to get service that quickly, but was thrilled they could come right away. I've used them once before about a year ago and would highly recommend them.

I've used them several times before and they would always be my first choice for electrical work. They answer their phone, are flexible with appointments, and come when they say they will. They are very knowledgeable, experienced and are very pleasant to work with.

Did well - had to redo some of the outdated wiring.

The situation was disappointing. We tried to coordinate the radon fan electric hookup with two other electrical projects we need completed. I spoke with Jerry Snyder about it and explained what we needed done. I further explained that I had to leave for work before noon on the day of the service. Therefore, he and I both agreed that it was extremely important that the electrician come to our house early in the morning so that we could discuss in detail the services to be performed and I could be present for the majority of the work. I was told the electrician would be out by 9am. On the scheduled morning, the electrician did not show. I called the office at 10am and was told that there must have been a scheduling mix up and the electrician would not be out until after 10:00. I explained the situation and was told that he would come immediately after completing his morning job, which would hopefully be before noon when I had to leave for work. Unfortunately, I left for work at noon without seeing the electrician. Therefore, the other projects were never discussed and couldn't be completed. He could only perform the radon-related work. This was extremely disappointing for us as we hoped to get all our needed electrical work done by one company on one trip. I am surprised that we did not receive a follow up phone call or any other effort to apologize or reschedule. I'm sure it was just a scheduling snafu, but we'll be using a more customer-service oriented company for the electrical work we still need performed.

Tim was the service man, very polite, and service was uneventful. Job done as promised.

Snyder Electric provides excellent service and gets the job done right. I have tried other companies and have found Snyder to be the best. They tend to cost a bit more, but you will definitely get what you pay for.

They did an excellent job, got everything done quickly, and at a very reasonable price. I'm having them come back to my house to do more work and would recommend them to anyone.

BOB DID A WONDERFUL JOB. HE WAS FAST, SUCCESSFULLY INSTALLED A ''WORKAROUND'' TO DEAL WITH A JUNCTION BOX ISSUE, AND GAVE ME TIPS ALONG THE WAY. HOWEVER, THE OWNER SCHEDULED AN 8AM APPOINTMENT FOR ME OVER THE PHONE. BY 8:30 NO ONE HAD ARRIVED, SO I CALLED AND WAS TOLD THAT I WASN'T EVEN ON THE SCHEDULE FOR THE DAY! THEY SAID THEY WOULD HAVE SOMEONE HERE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, BUT COULD NOT GIVE ME A TIME FRAME. CONSIDERING THAT I HAD AN EXACT APPOINTMENT (RATHER THAN A WINDOW), I THOUGHT THIS WAS VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. BOB DID NOT ARRIVE UNTIL AFTER 10AM, AND HE DID NOT HAVE THE EXHAUST FAN WITH HIM (NEITHER HIS FAULT), SO THE OWNER HAD TO BRING IT OUT. I HAVE USED SNYDER ELECTRIC BEFORE & I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN (SINCE IN THE END THE WORK WAS COMPLETED TO MY SATISFACTION), BUT I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS PARTICULAR EXPERIENCE. I DID NOT ASK FOR A DISCOUNT FOR MY INCONVENIENCE, BUT HE DID NOT OFFER ONE EITHER, AND I THOUGHT HE SHOULD HAVE. CALL TO CONFIRM YOUR APPOINTMENT

PROFESSIONAL, POLITE AND OFFERED GOOD ADVICE ON TYPES OF LIGHT BULBS TO USE TO OBTAIN THE PROPER LIGHTING EFFECT.

ELECTRICIAN (I DON'T REMEMBER HIS NAME - JIM?) WAS ON TIME, VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, AND VERY EFFICIENT. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH ALL OF HIS WORK, AND THE FINAL COST WAS LESS THAN I EXPECTED. TO MY SURPRISE, THEY DID NOT EXPECT PAYMENT AT THE TIME OF SERVICE, BUT INSTEAD INVOICED ME. I UNDERSTAND THAT THEY PREFER TO DO THIS -- THE ELECTRICIAN TOLD ME THAT ANGIE'S LIST CUSTOMERS ARE ALWAYS 'GOOD' FOR PAYING THE INVOICES! SO, IT WORKS BOTH WAYS!
