Jim was so responsive and accessible. He was straightforward and candid about what was possible--looking out for our best interests, rather than suggesting the most expensive options.

Initially we had some problems getting scheduled.  The problems were his schedule and ours.  Once we agreed upon the date and time he arrived promptly, went right to work and stayed busy all time he was here.  He was great at suggesting options for the jobs he did and actually acomplished more than what we thought we would have done.  Very please with his work and would definitely have him do more in the future when needs arise.

If you want someone who calls you back and follows through, call Black Diamond Construction. The work and price are fantastic. I do foster care and the dogs barked much of the time Jim was on site making concentration for most folks difficult. Jim just put on his head phones and listened to music. He asks lots of questions and is very concerned about you being happy with the end product. I am very happy.

Needed to replace sheetrock, studs, plate which had been cut out for some plumbing and waterproofing work in basement laundry room.   Some odd shaped areas required much cutting, measuring, and time.  Jim did an excellent job as usual.   Perfect match to existing walls.   Went beyond expectations by working over the weekend to finish the job so we could get the room back together sooner.

I think this is the 3rd or 4th time Jim has done work for us. Always very good at what he does. Plan on having him back to do some more work soon!

Jim arrived on time and was very pleasant to work with. It was clear that he had lots of experience and offered several options to us, which we found very helpful. Our house is 70 years old, so getting the doors to fit and meet properly required some effort, but Jim still got it done quickly and properly. With both the doors and the base moulding it was clear that Jim always strives to do high quality work and he takes pride in doing it right.

Jim's work is of excellent quality. His ability to problem solve and plan and execute solutions is amazing! He assisted me in completing my basement finish project over a three week time period. During this time, he was reliable, responsible, and trust-worthy in areas of being here when scheduled, completing all tasks with excellence, and being efficient with his time. He is talented to design and construct creatively, as seen through work he performed on my fireplace surround including framing and tiling, and tiling in bathroom. He repaired drywall damage with excellence in areas around vanity and stairway cubbies. His workmanship on trim and door installation is superb. If you need someone who is multi-talented and strives for excellence in all he does, Jim is the one for you.

Jim did a lot of work getting the basement office ready for us to move in. Did drywall, painting, and trim work. Still looks awesome! Makes my office feel not so basement-ish.

I needed help completing some unfinished projects around the house. Jim came over and provided me with an hourly rate to finish the work. He did the job quickly and didn't run up the clock just because he was hourly. He also did excellent work. I've never seen mittered corners on 6and quot; baseboard so perfect without sparkle. Much attention to detail. I will call him again if needed.
