Craig seemed like a great guy at first. When pressing him for details about time frames for how long things would take and when he could break ground that's where things went wrong. Very wrong. Craig told me it would take at least two weeks to obtain a building permit. OK Craig told me it would take about a month to get a lumber list from Matthew Hall Lumber. OK So those time frames just seemed too long and I was curious, as this would be my 5th house that I am building. I called the City of St. Cloud and asked the woman who issues the building permits. She informed me that residential building permits take less than one week. Then I called MH Lumber. How long to get a lumber list. Oh the guy says, we are kind of busy right now. It will take about a week. Very different time frames. When I confronted Craig with my concerns and what I had found out via email. He never responded. That says volumes to me. Less than stellar according to his web site claims. Buyer beware. He did not want to risk losing our business because he was not really able to start building when we wanted him to so he lied and stretched out the time frames of how long things really take. FAIL

Craig submitted a bid and said that he would be able to do the work in the next few days since he had a major project that was going to start the next week. We accepted the bid on the tuesday and the carpenters started the work on that thursday and completed the work on friday. They did quality work and cleaned up every night and when the work was done they cleaned up everything that they had done. Overall a very pleasurable experience and I would use them again for another project.
