Had several estimates and chose Stodola because several others I know have used them.  I hadn't really looked in the pump room for many years and didn't realized that there was a layer of dirt on the floor and various junk in the one corner.  The two men showed up on time and when they looked at my tank and complained that it was full of water and asked if I had a hose so they could drain it.  That being done, the head guy began to disassemble the old system and promptly sprayed water on himself.  They went about cutting the pipe and electrical line for the pump and removed the pump and tank , and sealed the well with cement.  They did not have a cap with them to terminate the water pipe they had to cut so they left it a jagged cut.  After they had finished I went about cleaning the room and discovered that the valve on the water line was leaking from the stem and I had to have a plumber in to take care of that.

I just love these guys! I've used them exclusively for any well needs since 2003. Always on time, quality work, pleasant demeanor & always explains everything that's going on. I was up & running within hours of calling. There's nothing worse than flipping on your faucet 1st thing in the morning & nothing comes out. Grrrrrrrr!

Technically, they did what I hired them to do ~ test my water quality. The issues I had were just that of customer service. Don't expect a smile on the telephone! I felt like I was doing them a favor by hiring them rather than being treated like a valued customer. They may do excellent and quot;technicaland quot; work with well drilling and servicing, and my experinces with those issues have been an and quot;Aand quot; over 20 years. But wow.... I may switch providers for no other reason than I don't want to engage with them again just by how I am treated on the phone.

Fast, efficient, friendly and reasonable price

Short notice to cap an old well prior to closing. Got it done in needed time frame and provided proper paper work for closing. Communicated clearly on what needed to be done and did it well. Was the only contractor with special heated truck to perform work during frigid temps. Competitive bid with no contingencies for add on charges that other contractors wanted.

As this is my first home with a private Well, I was not sure why all of the sudden I had no water. I'd noticed a strange and quot;clickingand quot; noise whenever I ran water and hoped my well was not drying up! This happened on a Sunday so did not make any calls, but decided to run to Cub to buy gallon jugs of water and my neighbor brought me a five gallon bucket of water to flush with, I could not dial up Don Stodola fast enough at 7 am in the morning first thing Monday and was VERY HAPPY when someone answered the phone! I told them what was going on and he said he could have someone out to the house before 9 am (WHEW!!! HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!!) When the technician arrived, he told me that he knew my house, the Well and that it was time for annual service (I've only been her and lt;1 year at this house and did not know wells needed annual service! ). He explained that air needed to be pumped into the system for it to work. He got busy working on it and less than 20 minutes later I was back up and running with water. My well was not dry after all and I learned some new things about Well Maintenance! Very happy with the responsiveness and service provided!

A very good experience. The service manager came out within 24 hourts of my call, diagnosed the situation and explained the required repairs. The service technician came the next day at the promised time, made the repair promptly, and cleaned up after himself. Problem solved quickly and at what I believe was a reasonable price.

Went very well. He listened to us explain how the pump stopped working and what we tried to get it re started. Based on the information he pin pointed the problem to a bad pump switch pulling 30 amps versus 10 amps which equated to the switch burning out. The quote was one plus parts.

The response in quoting and scheduling the work went well. I was not happy with the deep tracks left in the lawn, and some minor damage in the basement to an edge of plaster wall. Mark came out and agreed to allow $50 off the bill for the plaster damage, but advised me they cover the possible lawn damage in the contract. When I paid the bill, they sent the record of completion as requested. Now, several months later I noticed some water leakage in the basement and found rain dripping through the whole they had used and grouted. I have called them 4 times over the last 2 months about this problem. Mark left one message that the weather was too wet, but he would be out soon. The situation still has not been resolved.

Courteous, professional, efficient. I think it took two weeks or so for them to be able to come to our house in Crystal.

People very nice but lack of communications as to when they will be at house for the work. I Had to telephone several times. Agreement states no liability for tree and lawn damage -- their truck and work made a mess so be aware.

THEY WERE PROMPT. THEY GAVE AN ESTIMATE RIGHT AWAY AND WERE PROMPT IN COMING TO COMPLETE THE WORK.
