 + -1 moreDave Emery came as schedule and called before he came up my driveway as I requested. He knew exactly how to open up my furnace to service it and wasted no time. He had the right size replacement belt for the fan motor in his truck and did not have to drive back to his shop to get one. This is something which I Really appreciated. Had he not had another belt with him my bill would have been much higher do to an extra mileage and time charge. A contractor which I originally was going to use insisted that he needed to take the nozzle out and bring it to his shop, work on it, and bring it back, which would have cost at least another $50. I doubt he would have had a replacement belt in his truck either. I was very pleased with Dave's work.
Description of Work: I had my oil burning furnace "winterized" to avoid problem in the winter. Dave Emery changed out a cracked belt on the motor which runs the fan for the forced air system, and replaced the brass nozzle which shoots oil into the burner. Both of these things could have caused some very uncomfortable problems if they failed in the middle of winter. Parts were $15.80, Labor was $64., drive time $14. I live in the country and the drive charge for all heating and plumbing contractors is at least $14.
