+ -1 moreJoe never showed up to do the work and kept us hanging for two weeks after signing the contract. I would NEVER hire this person.
Description of Work: Joe seemed like a nice person, seemed trustworthy. We interviewed him to complete two remodels of one bedroom apartments. The scope of work was clearly defined, the quoted price seemed reasonable and we signed a contract for him to perform the services with payment at end of the job. Joe said the job would take one week. The day Joe said he would start, he never showed up. After two days I reached him and he apologized, said he would start the next day and that he wanted to be paid for part of the job upfront (we said no), and again he never showed up. After 4 days of trying to reach him daily, finally we contacted him. This went on for two weeks and finally he said he couldn't do the job. We wasted two weeks with this contractor. I would NEVER recommend him. Completely unprofessional, unreliable, untrustworthy and wasted two weeks of rent due to his delays. Looking at reviews online, it seems he tries to collect payment and ditch the site. DO NOT HIRE THIS PERSON.

+ -1 moreHe hung rock in the basement and about 1/4 of the kitchen ... then asked for partial payment at midday on Friday (Sept. 23, 2016). He said he was going to run to the bank and get lunch and he'd be right back. He never returned. I texted him on Monday when he didn't show again, and he said he'd be back Tuesday. After that, he stopped responding to texts and calls. Joe is friendly and affable enough, and makes you believe you can trust him. I would never use him again and I would caution everyone I meet to avoid him and his take the money and run business practices.
Description of Work: I hired Joe Ross to hang demo and sheetrock my basement and kitchen.
