Couldn't mow for a couple of weeks due to foot injury. Grass was 4" high. When they were done, it was hard to tell it had been mowed. I usually set my mower height to around 2" with no issues for my lawn. Complained. Their response: "Client was not onsite when we arrived to mow. Client had not mowed his lawn is quite a while. We proceed to mow with the 3.0 -3.5 height. This height is advised by the State of Minnesota Ag School for a healthy lawn. We mow all of our clients at the 3.0 -3.5 height. We set our mowers in the spring and that is the same height they are at in the fall. Client is correct in stating lawn was 3.0 inches long. Clients lawn was mowed at 3.0 inches because that is the only height we mow. 3.0 - 3.5 inches. I cannot solve clients problem. He is not satisfied. If, he could have been on site when mowing took place the problem might have been solved. Since he was not on site, I cannot solve his issues with length of grass mowing. It's like cutting hair too short or too long. I cannot solve this issue. We do not mow lawns any shorter as the blades will scalp the lawn and can also damage a $36.00 dollar set of blades. Client could order weekly service and see how healthy his lawn will look at a constant mowing height of 3.0 - 3.5 inches." This feels like a ploy to get someone to pay for weekly service. Three inch + height is ridiculous.
