Honest-1 Auto Care-Roseville

They were busy when I dropped car off. Ended up giving me my oil change for free plus told be what other repairs would be needed in future. Courteous employees. Professional.

I have built a relationship with them. They are very responsive to my needs. They have a warranty on their parts and on their labor. I had little things/issues with them. Sometimes I have to go back because the repair made was not perfect. They are good and they take care of me right away.

They do a good job and I would recommend them. They are competitive with everyone else. I will use them again. They had my car ready in less time than they originally said.

This occurred in 2011 and far too long ago for me to remember any details. I am unable to give any meaningful review. PLEASE STOP SHOWING BOTH THE POP-UPs ASKING ME FOR A REVIEW.

They tend to upsell you which is not a very comfortable situation. I would not use them again. I had a couple of interactions with them and I am not sure if I would recommend them. Since they are close by, they have done a couple of things for me. Every time when I go in there, they were trying to sell several hundred dollars worth of work.

It was November when I relized my car had no heat. Called honest one and got in that same day. There was a clog in a tube to my heater core, plus a mouse nest in there. They cleaned it all out and I got it back the same day. We have used them for all of our car issues big and thankfully small, this time. Eric Schmittdiel is the one who always does the work and takes the time to explain it all.

We felt the guys at this shop were very honest and capable and truly appreciated their expertise and opinion especially as they did not pressure us to do something that was not worth the money considering the van's age and mileage. I will definitely use them again.

They had trouble getting the brake pads off the front calipers. So, they banged them extremely hard, causing caliper damage. So now i hear rattle noise when i do not press brakes. And yes i have had my struts and tie rods replaced by another shop.

It was a very good experience. The price was very competitive. I’ve used them since. The shop is extremely clean and welcoming while waiting for the service to be completed.

I was told they would be here by 5 pm an they were here by 4 I told them that I had an "Angies list coupon" for 10% off services and Luther's Towing honored it. I am very happy with how it all went.

Company never contacted me after I paid $58 for the "deal". Angie's List personnel contacted the company on my behalf and I still have never heard from Honest-1 Auto Care. I have waited at least 10 days. Therefore, no Service Date was scheduled and no service performed. I no longer want to do business with this company.

Very good customer service. They have a nice waiting room and are very close to a beach with a playground, which was great for my kids. This company is so nice to work with.

We purchased a 2002 Toyota Camry from a relative. The car has very low mileage but, because of it's age we wanted to make sure everything was safe and the car was ready to drive. Honest-1 checked everything out and gave the car a clean bill of health.

I went to the location close to me and they said that they didn’t participate with that deal. They gave me a different type of deal instead, but it was about $100 total.

We knew our transmission was going and had started researching where to get it fixed when the car broke down on the highway. We had it towed to Honest 1 in Roseville that Thursday evening, after hours. By the next morning, they had already found a good used transmission for us and discovered a brake problem. By 10am Saturday morning, the car was done! Great service, fair price and the Saturday hours are a plus. Thanks!

They are prompt and get the work done. They are also friendly and they know if there is a problem, I’m just going to take my car to the dealer. It is also a clean, comfortable place to go to.

After completing the oil change, there were several issues identified during the 100 point inspection. One issue was known, but the other issues hadn't been brought to my attention before. The staff did a great job diagnosing the issues and working through the options with me. I was very pleased with how much time they took to work on the issues and the price they charged me for all the work they did.

Went great. They did exactly what they said they would.

I've gone to Honest-1 for several things. They've been very upfront about what needs to be done, what doesn't need to be done and what can wait. They're very professional.

I purchased an Angie's List "big deal" hoping to use the inspection for diagnosing a noise coming from the engine bay as well as some uneven tire wear. Honest-1 was able to help me on all fronts: the oil change and tire rotation were quick and easy. They identified the engine noise as an exhaust manifold leak, and the tire wear from a loose tie rod. The rep I worked with was courteous and helpful and the tech showed me the tie rod problem and gave me an idea of what an exhaust manifold leak would cause as far as fuel efficiency and possible vapors coming into the vehicle's cabin (I just went and replaced it myself later and it resolved the noise). Probably the most interesting aspect of Honest-1 is their waiting room. It is remarkably better than any other auto shop waiting room I've been in and it had a surprisingly good effect on my happiness : ) They had free granola bars and candy, coffee, hot chocolate, multiple TVs, and I think they even had some game console hooked up to one of them for kids. When you are forced to wait on a long repair, sitting in a crummy plastic chair in a cramped room is annoying, so it was refreshing to have a big and open space with plenty of comfy seating, including plush leather couches and high-tops. They did everything I had hoped for and at a good price, so I would definitely take my vehicles there for service again.

.When I dropped the vehicle off on sunday night I wrote a note that the car was having difficulty turning over and running rough. I didn't hear back from A1 until the next day at around 3:00 P.M. They left a message that they had replaced the battery. I had not authorized the battery replacement but was o.k. with that since that was all it needed in regards to the starting issue. I went to pick up the car only to realize they hadn't even addressed the rough handling issue so I left the care for another day. I thought the rough running was related to the transmission. They did extensive testing on the transmission and found nothing wrong. They contacted me to tell me it was the "shocks" which had just been replaced less than a year ago by another mechanic. After telling them that, they looked at the car again and determined the shocks were fine, it was the suspension system. They gave me a "deal" at 1,400.00 but would not accept the 5% off coupon from Angies List with that deal. I picked up the vehicle on Friday and it drove much better! Unfortunately when I got it home it leaked oil all over my new concrete driveway so I had to bring it back the following Monday. They discovered the seal was bad so they replaced that along with the oil and promised a free oil change at the next visit for the inconvenience. I recently received a letter from their shop with the "recommended services" for my vehicle. They included transmission fluid service , brake fluid service, and cooling system service, NONE of which they "recommended" to me when my car had been at the shop for a week. The mechanics were all very nice and professional but after talking with a local mechanic I know that I overpaid quite a bit. Being a single mom of 3 I am always looking for a trustworthy mechanic that offers repairs at a value. I will definitely get my free oil change at Honest A 1 but next time plan on trying Rose car care in Roseville where a friend of mine always gets excellent service at a great price from Javier. A bonus is the free roadside service. Rated overall B -

Frist of all this review is for the Honest-1 Auto Care in Anoka. It's been there for over a year and just recently listed on coupons received in the mail. Where they excel is in their warranty. Most places including Auto Dealerships only warranty for 90 days or maybe up to a year. Honest-1 Auto Care warranties the parts and work for 3 years. It's a good feeling not to have to worry about the need to have the same work redone a few months down the line. Everyone was very approachable, were courteous and straight forward in discussing issues worked on as well as informing about items noticed that may need attention shortly. I was very pleased with the work and would select them over a dealership every time. I have had work done at maybe 20 different dealerships over my 45 years of driving and all but one I was sure they did something to the car to guarantee that I would be back with a new problem within a few months. Standard scheduled maintenance on a new car over the first few years is OK but as soon as that agreement ends, change to someone like Honest-1 Auto Care. Their prices may be higher than your local Joe repair shop, but when getting a 3 year warrantee they tend to put quality parts and work into your ride.
