I called Dan on Friday 9/20/24 & explained we needed our water dispenser replaced on our refrigerator. He told me over the phone he was ordering the part & would come out the following Monday (9/23), to swap it out. So we took the morning off from work to be present. When he arrived 40 min late, I overheard him ask my husband what the problem was. I was in the other room, so I don't think he knew I was home. He then said he would have to order the part & come back another day. I came out & reminded him of the fact that he told me he already ordered it the Friday before. He admitted to "dropping the ball" & said he forgot to order it, but that he would get it ordered & come back on Thursday. We were slightly annoyed but still paid him in advance & gave him the benefit of the doubt. People make mistakes, no one's perfect. Fast forward to Thursday morning, less than an hour before our rescheduled appt, he says the part is backordered. Not his fault, but then I texted him & asked if they said how long it would take & which part he ordered. He then said I was being rude & now he's not coming back to do the job. Oh & we still owe him $65 for the diagnostic fee. This guy was sloppy, dishonest & wasted our time, then charged us for it. Instead of doing the right thing & simply apologizing to us, he shifted the blame on us, (asking simple questions is apparently being rude), so he'd have an excuse to not come back. I guess the embarrassment was just too much for his ego to face us again, after he was caught lying.

Service Matters Heating and Air could not have a more appropriate title. I have been using Dan and his company for a number of years now. He has repaired my dryer, refrigerator, furnace, dishwater (twice) and advised me on a couple of other issues. Service is exceptional. Dan will go out of his way to get to your problem as quickly as possible. He is absolutely honest and totally fair in his pricing. You will never use another repair guy once you try out Dan. Put the phone book down from now on. The only things he doesn't do are water softeners and microwaves. Believe me, if you have a microwave problem just buy a new one. Thanks for everything Dan. I almost want something to break so I can see him. (Well Almost.)

Dan did a great job fixing my dryer. I would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a appliance fixed. He is thorough. He was on time. His pricing was very reasonable as well.

The repairs went very well. Dan diagnosed the problem very quickly. He had to order a part but returned in a couple days to install it. Very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Will definitely hire again when needed.

Dan is unbelievable. I'd hire him for anything he even thought he could do. No one is more conscientious, professional and fair. You will never be disappointed. If you think you have a problem with Dan you need to look in the mirror. You are the problem. He is prompt and will often carve out time if it is a dire situation. I can't remember how many times I have hired him in the last couple of years but I bet its 4 or 5 times. Put his name in your Rolodex and only call someone else if Dan tells you he can't or won't do the repair.

My Samsung Refrigerator's door alarm would not stop ringing. Samsung repair could not fix it. Looking at reviews, I found We Care. I called Dan and explained to him the problem. He could not come that day but could look at it the next morning. Dan was here for 20 minutes and fixed my refrigerator that Samsung could not repair. Dan has a great work ethic, is fair, on time and knowledgeable. I will call him first for any repairs that I need.

Very well. I didn't have the repair done because of the age of the refrigerator (16 years) and the cost to fix it $400. I agreed with the repair person that my money would be better spent on a new refrigerator.

After seeing #1 WE CARE appliance repair on Angie's List, I contacted Dan, who responded promptly. He was at our house within two hours, diagnosed the problem (circuit board), drove to get the part, returned, and installed it. We were delighted with the same-day, professional service and very reasonable price. Highly recommend!
