We met Phil back in March when we needed our zone heating system repaired. It’s difficult to find people who can work on a zone system. He set us up with two thermostats both of of which can be controlled with our phones and made sure we knew how to use them. He is very courteous and professional and fair in his pricing. We called him today for a non-functioning furnace. He diagnosed the problem and came out on a Saturday to do the repair so we would have heat. Again, very professional and very fair in his pricing.

We needed our air conditioner replaced (17 years old) for a house of roughly 4,000 square feet. We obtained bids from 5 companies. Phil's bid was more than $1,000.00 cheaper than any other bid re received. Additionally, he did not try and up-sell us by stating that we needed to replace our home heating too. Phil provided a bid to do the heating job too (about 7k w/ heating and air unit replacement combined), and told us that many times customers replace both the heating and air at the same time. We received feedback from Minnesota Energy that the heat was in good shape, so we elected to only do the A/C. Phil did the job in one morning. The air has worked great ever since. He is a local guy, which felt good to support. His price was exceptional. I heard about him through a friend from church. I would certainly hire Mr. Holmin again. OUTSTANDING JOB for a great deal!

Phil came out within an hour of our calling him, on one of the coldest days of the year. He quickly diagnosed the problem, got our heat working, and scheduled a time to come back and repair the issue. He also took the time to answer all of our questions and educate us on the system, since this is our first winter in the house. We will definitely use him again, and I would highly recommend him.

We requested a service call through our Ins. carrier and they forwarded the request to Holmin Heating and Cooling. They contacted us the same day and came out that day. Mr. Holmin was very courteous and professional. He explained every step of what he was doing and seeing with our problematic Central Air unit. He was very helpful and we would definitely call them again.

On the coldest night of they year our furnace stop working at 1:00 am. I called Phil and he provided me instructions over the phone and said that he would be out right away in the morning. He even offered to come out at that moment. When he arrived he diagnosed the problem. Professional, Prompt, and Thorough. Would definitely use him again.

Phil was sent by my home warranty company and I was very impressed with his attempts at contacting me, his immediate response to a recurring problem with my almost new furnace, and his attempting to determine the problem over the phone by leading me through some things to check. Mr. Holmin was dispatched by my home warranty company. They said he would contact me within 30 minutes. He called right away! He was very nice and I provided him with some information about what the furnace was doing. He was very knowledgeable and understanding, even joking with me when I told him I would light a candle for warmth while I waited, haha. He explained he would be over ASAP, as he was a few cities away. He was at my door within the hour!
After looking at my furnace for only a minute or so, he knew exactly what was wrong. He showed me the sensor that was malfunctioning and was able to get a replacement from his vehicle. After a quick install of the new sensor, I was up and running!
Overall, I would definitely use this company again. He was very nice and did not mind answering any questions I had. He also didn't seem to mind at all that he had to come out at 11:30pm.

Phil responded quickly to my request to repair the furnace blower that was not working. I provided the make, serial number and model number over the phone and he immediately knew he had fan motors in stock if it was a fan motor. He executed with professional same day service. Several other companies said they would have to send out a technician to do the analysis and then determine a course fof action that would be executed the following day. Being able to talk to a knowledgeable person doing the work and the fact he was the business owner got him my business. The price was quite reasonable. He is now my heating and A/C guru.

After calling a few other heating companies in our area and finding out that they were booked up and couldn't come take a look at our furnace for 5-6 days I called Holmin Heating. Phil was able to make it out the same day and determined the problem. He was back first thing the next morning with a new motor and had cleaned up many other parts. It was fixed within 24 hours of the start of my search for finding a company to service our furnace. His service was FAST, professional, courteous and the price was reasonable.

He's wonderful. He was on time, gave very reasonable cost and did good work. He actually came out twice, it was in July and at the end of August. The first time was $200 and the next time was $60.
