GROFFS HEATING & AIR COND

After several quotes i found a coupon for Groff's on accident. Out of every company i contacted, Groff's was by far the most punctual. George Groff informed me of what equipment other contractors would use and told me to read reviews so that i could make the best decision. After doing research i found Groff's to be the least expensive contractor for my needs while offering some of the best equipment (Carrier or Diakin). We opted with Diakin because of the better warranties. George's son Aaron assisted with the installation and the work has been impeccable. I was lukewarm about using this company because of the lack of good reviews. However, after dealing with several other contractors attempting to troubleshoot my issue, Groff's was by far the best choice.

Terrible service after the sale.

This is a review for my neighbor.  The job went well, except that the contractor promised to register the equipment warranty with Carrier.  Carrier, however, has no record.  My neighbor keeps getting the run around by the contractor, who claims they registered the equipment, but "with the wrong serial number" or other excuses."  Bottom line - due to the inattention of this contractor, my neighbor has lost 10 years of manufacturer warranty.   This contractor cannot be trusted to do what they promise - certainly not with warranty registration.  Contractor now hangs up on the neighbor when she calls to follow-up.

I called around 4pm, and it's now 8:30, a tech has been here and gone and our AC is back up and running.  It's an extremely hot day and I can only imagine how busy they were, the fact that they were able to get out here today and fix it amazes me!
