I used them for an annual inspection. The technicians were friendly. They explained clearly what they found (rust on heating coil) and that it was common and nothing to be concerned with at this point. They will watch it with each annul inspection. I really appreciated their honesty and thorough explanation.

When my boiler went out on 12/30/2021, I had Mike's Custom Mechanical set up an appointment for a tuneup. They quickly determined that my 28 year old boiler needed replacement. I had frozen pipes and the boiler was shot. They gave me many options. I picked the high efficiency model and they installed it the very next day, 12/31/2021. Great service. Great team. And Mike stopped by to make sure it was just right. I highly recommend Mike's Custom Mechanical.

Mike the owner of the company came to my house to fix my furnace. He was on time. He checked just about everything including the furnace filter. When he was done. He thought that I needed to replace all the ductwork and the heat exchanger. At a cost of 6,750. So I called another furnace company to get a second opinion. The tech from the second company showed me that the furnace filter was full of dust. Because my house humidity was too high. The tech replaces my furnace. And the furnace has worked ever since.

The service techs were very friendly, explained everything- even had the patience to explain things to my 10 year old grandson and tested the system before going.

Mike, they were, came within a hour or so, as promised, to look at the problem and begin work. When Mike walk in the door, he gave me a chocolate covered doughnut. The person who called was Jo, who work hard to make sure that I got the timing I needed ( I had no heat in mid December). Mike told me that he had no choice but to do as Jo asked. Before he begin work, he texted her that he had arrived. Jo, Mike, Mike assistant Todd, and Jason work hard to get my heat up and running by 3pm that day. With or without with doughnut, I recommend them in a heart beat

Supposed to come between 8 and 10 but showed up at 7:19 and woke me up. Said he did not know what was wrong but would probably need 2 boards at $1000 each and if that did not work, would need a valve for another $2000. Or, I could get a new heat pump for $6500. After he left, I discovered he would turn off my heat and never turned it back on! Originally, I opted for the new heat pump but after talking to another contractor, I canceled the order. Still attempting to get the $3250 down payment back. Definitely would not recommend this company.

I contacted them with specific concerns about cooling my dental office after making several structural changes due to the CDC guidance for COVID 19. I indicated that I and my staff would be wearing extra PPE, and with the structural changes made to my office, I needed to ensure that the office would be cool enough to comfortably work. I explained that I was aware that I did not have enough vents in the treatment rooms, but relied on their expertise to evaluate my system and office space. They basically had a *salesman* named Roy to come out, who they later admitted did not really evaluate my current heating/cooling system, and just sold me some ductwork, telling me that this should solve my problem. In the summertime, even if I set my thermostat at 68, by the end of the day, the temperature rises to 74-75 degrees. With all the extra PPE, I and my staff are wearing, it feels like 80 degrees. In the process of doing the ductwork, one of their installers improperly installed a duct, over a water pipe and cracked the water pipe, leading to a huge water leak in my basement. They had to come out and repair that. I indicated to the owner, Mike, that I was not happy with the work that was done for the $8,000 that I paid. He said he would address it, but never did. When you contract with a company, you are relying on their expertise and honesty to assess what you need. After it was all said and done, I was told that my system was too small in the first place, by one of their technicians. Why was I not told that in the beginning, before they sold me $8000 worth of ductwork, that does not cool my treatment rooms which were my sole objective? They also were very slow sending a refund for a back door that I had initially ordered and later canceled. I later found out from the company they subcontracted the job to for the door and some of the vents, that they said they were not going to pay them. I had to basically threaten to take legal action if they did not refund me and also pay the sub-contractor for what they did, so I would not have to worry about the sub-contractor potentially placing a lien on my building. I spoke to the sub-contractor directly, and they were eventually paid, but they said they would never do business with Mikes Custom Mechanical again. I will never do business with them either. I feel they just capitalized on the fact that they knew I was trying to reopen my office after being closed for 4 months due to the mandated shutdown, and I was very concerned about cooling the office. I would not recommend this company!!!

Tyler was wonderful, knowledgeable, and quick to finish the task safely. While I hope not to have another cast radiator crack and leak on me, I would definitely bring them back if needed!!!
