"Hello [Member Name Removed]....I know this is way after the fact, but we don't really follow Angie's List & once I finally did see it, I had to find out from Angie's List how to reply back. I'm very sorry that your delivery did not go as expected. I know that the drivers do try to watch so branches are not rubbing on the trucks, just trying to take care of expensive equipment. The delivery charge basically covers getting the product to the delivery address, but I know my drivers usually try to do what they can as far as spreading, dumping in separate piles, etc. to try to help customers out, but sometimes things don't always work out in that regard. And sometimes what a customer thinks can be done & what actually works for the truck are two different things. That being said, my driver shouldn't have been in that much of a hurry where he didn't fully explain or convey how he viewed the situation...I do tell my guys that communication with the customer is so important....and he obviously should not have been a jerk about things, if that's what happened? It sounds like we dropped the ball in that aspect...no excuse even if a guy is having a bad day, can't take it out on our customer. Being well over a year ago,I wouldn't know now which driver it was...but all I can do is apologize on his & our behalf, and ask that you'll reconsider us & who we are as a company. We have been around since the early 70's, and it's not by doing a bad job....not used to hearing that."
