I was a little dismayed at first by the timing of things. If I was offered a certain rate in the morning, by the time I replied, the rate had changed. Once I had a more formal agreement with GSF, we were able to make the decision quickly and get the rate that I wanted.
Unfortunately, on the eve of the closing, Brian stated that the closing company had changed the terms of the loan slightly. This was a surprise, but there was nothing I could do about it short of delaying the closing to have things changed (and he was already at my home). I accepted this reluctantly. Four months later, I received a late payment from an entity that was supposed to be payed by the closing company. I was very happy with the transaction until this late payment arrived. Brian is unwilling to compensate me for the late payment. I think it's the least he could do considering the unexpected changes to the loan at the last minute.
