We go to Petco every 2-3 months for a full groom then on occasion we bring our dog in for a free nail trim. We always ask for Linda who is one of the groomers at the North Walmart location. The full groom covers brushing, shampoo, nail trim, teeth brushing, fur trim, etc. Our dog is very old and has some joint pain due to arthritis - the groomer is very gentle with our dog and treats her with care and compassion. She is very loving towards our dog and seems to enjoy working with animals.
Petco often has specials - and will put a charm or bow on our dog's collar which looks very sweet. They also offer a treat at the 'treat bar' for our pet when she is in the store.
We have used other groomers -- but they've not brushed as throughly as they do at Petco. So we've continued our business at Petco.

My experience with them was awesome. They were great with her. She's a rescue dog, so she is kind of a little shy and reserved, but the lady did absolutely a beautiful job on her coat. My advice to others is to use Linda B., she's the one who did my dog. I think they have three or four groomers there.

I WOULD RATE THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE AS GOOD. THE DOGS WERE CLIPPED A LITTLE SHORTER THAN I WOULD LIKED, SO COMMUNICATION FROM GROOMER COULD have BEEN BETTER. ALSO, THERE WAS ONLY ONE CASHIER, AND I THINK BEING WE HAD BOTH DOGS IN WE COULD HAVE HAD A FRIENDLIER EXPERIENCE. BUT OVERALL GOOD.
