My garage door opener was not working, and it needed to be repaired or replaced. He was willing to look at repairing the brand I had (most won't even look at a Genie). As I suspected, it couldn't be repaired, and he advised me on the replacement. The price he quoted was less than that I got in a phone quote from other companies, and he was able to come quickly and install it. It's working great, and he was really good to work with.

When I called for service the owner answered and was able to come when I requested.
The provider called, as agreed, when he would be on his way to my house.  He gave me a 30 minute lead time.
He arrived when he said he would.  He replaced the garage door springs, lubricated the hinges and rollers, and verified the door operated as it should.
I stayed in the garage while he did the work to watch him do it.

The job went on quite well. He was prompt in returning my call and responded quite well to my request. He figured out the problem very quickly and he was reasonable.

They were prompt about it, and did good work, and everything went fine. They did a good job, they recommended a few essential things that I may need to do down the road, so they weren't just doing the repair, they were trying to come in, and suggest  the way to do the repair.  The price was fine. The quality of service was very good, and they were very quick. They were out at the time that they said they would be. They have been in business for a very long time.

They were very efficient. I remember it was cost effective. The cost was very reasonable. The person was very prompt and on time. They were very personable, efficient and the job well done.

This was one of those problems were one guy says all the hardware needs to be replaced, and another one says 'Oh, I'll just replace this small worn part and it'll work fine.'

The opener stopped working suddenly. Jim arrived and informed me that the opener was not safe due to lack of the infrared beam to prevent closing.  He advised that he could not work on it due to the safety issue and recommended replacement. He agreed to return the next day with a new opener and install it.  Installation was quick and everything worked great.

I called about 9, they said they could come yet this morning. They were there about an hour later and fixed the problem! Great service

The only disappointment was that he was unable to respond to the original call for 1 week. However, this was around the July 4th holiday so he was probably on vacation just like most of us. I still gave him an "A" rating in responsiveness because the rest of the work was great. We have used him before for a very small job a few years prior and he remembered our house! He is honest and prompt in his work. The estimate was what the cost was. No hidden fees or additional "work". I will definitely recommend him and use him in the future if the need arises.

Jim Nelson responded quickly to our call after the garage door was lowered onto a ladder, a small ladder, which is in good shape but the door caved in. He explained why it happened, and replaced the door. We then called him back to install entirely new controls, as the electrician had made a mess of the wires and the door's operation was sporadic. He is fun to work with and knows his business. We highly recommend him!

Jim was very prompt and reasonably priced. It would have taken me much longer to fix the door myself and I didn't feel like risking a trip to the ER (these springs have very high tension). I think it only took Jim about an hour plus he oiled the garage door so that it sounds much quieter. I was very pleased with his work.

We called this company to fix a broken garage door out on the garage. The door needed some routine maintenance is it turned out, oiling, tightening, track adjustment, etc. They were excellently priced, and they came out right away to fix the problems. This was a very professional company that I would not hesitate to recommend to others.
