I first started seeing her a few years ago because I had terrible scars from having moles removed by a different doctor in the area, and I needed someone to examine and potentially remove a few other, more visible, moles I didn't want to scar as badly. She was very caring and compassionate, and explained every step of the visit, which is something my old doctor didn't do. My moles were removed and you can only see scaring if you get very, very close. There's almost nothing! I was really impressed with her office staff, too. She's often booked because of how popular she is, and you'll wait in the waiting room a little longer, but if you have an emergency or some questions about a test result, they'll try their hardest to get you time with her that day.
Mayo is THE only place to go when facing a serious medical issue. Facility runs like a Swiss watch - check in and you are supplied a schedule for your day(s) appointments, maps of the property and a go to person for anything you may need. Punctual appointments, friendly & compassionate staff, excellent communication and easy to understand billing and paperwork.
Mayo was not able to save my husband but if I hadn't taken him there, I would have always wondered if I had done everything I could.
I see Dr. Kantarci and he is a neurologist. The clinic is run professionally and it is timely. They run the place very well and adhere to their schedule. They pay their doctors a salary so it is not based on anything that they either recommend or do so I think they have the patient's best interest in mind.
They took personal information and information regarding the disease and treatment. Then they requested all clinical notes, CT scans, biopies to be made available to them prior to the appointment.
Packets of information arrived by mail containing appointment times, dates and locations. Also included were maps of the area showing the various Mayo buildings and parking ramps as well as hotel/motel accommodations in the area.
The first day was spent with blood draw and CT scans. Day two was a consultation with an oncologist.who was thorough and answered all of the questions.
I would definitely recommend this clinic and their staff.
