Mayo Clinic - Rochester

Better than expected, I highly recommend going to Mayo.

I first started seeing her a few years ago because I had terrible scars from having moles removed by a different doctor in the area, and I needed someone to examine and potentially remove a few other, more visible, moles I didn't want to scar as badly. She was very caring and compassionate, and explained every step of the visit, which is something my old doctor didn't do. My moles were removed and you can only see scaring if you get very, very close. There's almost nothing! I was really impressed with her office staff, too. She's often booked because of how popular she is, and you'll wait in the waiting room a little longer, but if you have an emergency or some questions about a test result, they'll try their hardest to get you time with her that day. Mayo is THE only place to go when facing a serious medical issue. Facility runs like a Swiss watch - check in and you are supplied a schedule for your day(s) appointments, maps of the property and a go to person for anything you may need. Punctual appointments, friendly & compassionate staff, excellent communication and easy to understand billing and paperwork. Mayo was not able to save my husband but if I hadn't taken him there, I would have always wondered if I had done everything I could.

It always goes well. They are highly knowledgeable and very thorough.

I see Dr. Kantarci and he is a neurologist. The clinic is run professionally and it is timely. They run the place very well and adhere to their schedule. They pay their doctors a salary so it is not based on anything that they either recommend or do so I think they have the patient's best interest in mind.

They are totally impressive. They have their instruments, and they are trying it out on a few people, and they are trying to see if they can get it approved and then put it on trial. We emailed them, and they sent us an email with the appointment. I was the third person in the country to have the surgery. They are patient centered, they don't do things that are not necessary, and they have protocols in the world that makes them the safest hospitals in the world.

They treat you like you are the only patient that they are seeing. I've got chronic health problems and it's very draining and to go some place where nothing about the experience from parking my car to getting to the appointment room to talking to anyone in billing or administration or getting anything sorted out is completely no hustle and it is completely seamless. There's someone to escort you to your appointment room and they are extremely thoughtful in terms of thinking ahead of do you need to be taken directly to the room you are not feeling well or need assistance with lifts or they need to call a wheel chair for you. You don't even have to put forth an effort to say I need this kind of help because they are already thinking it. They are very prompt, professional and very experienced.

My experience with them was excellent. They provide everything under the sun which is one of the conveniences. One can go there and see a number of different doctors and specialists all in one day with timely appointments as opposed to going back two or three days later. They have a very professional work force. They are very timely; one does not sit there for hours. They are very accessible even in bad weather through the tunnel systems from various hotels. It is a bit of a drive from where I live.

The only issue that I had was it cost $10,000.00 over what the insurance would cover as they initially did not take our insurance and then two weeks later they did. I had gone there prior to this and at that time they did except the insurance. The doctor was amazing as he took his time with me and he did a great job.

They are unbelievable and professional. They see thousands of patients. When I see them, it could be an hour or 1 1/2 hours and it is only me. They've made their plan and they tell me where to go. Everything comes together and I don't have to do anything. I had to be there at the particular time and floor and they did everything else. It is a wonderful environment. I was so stressed out and they took that fear away. I had to have radiation. I went to their satellite clinic for that.

They are professional, courteous, thorough and take time with you. They give you feed back the same day. They have good follow through, good price and good customer service.

Initial contact was by phone. Mayo assigned a patient number, set up an appointment date, and provided office / fax phone numbers. They took personal information and information regarding the disease and treatment. Then they requested all clinical notes, CT scans, biopies to be made available to them prior to the appointment. Packets of information arrived by mail containing appointment times, dates and locations. Also included were maps of the area showing the various Mayo buildings and parking ramps as well as hotel/motel accommodations in the area. The first day was spent with blood draw and CT scans. Day two was a consultation with an oncologist.who was thorough and answered all of the questions. I would definitely recommend this clinic and their staff.

They have an excellent medical care.

I have been seeing the same doctors and staff for 3 years now and they are all awesome. Best part of Mayo clinic is the doctors are not paid for how many patients they see so you are not rushed and they give you their full attention. Appointments are also coordinated across many departments so it is easy for the patient. Also, the unified bill and online system is well done. Overall Mayo Clinic is the best hospital and care I have ever received.

They're popular and I've been going to them for years. Everyone is phenomenal but I just don't like that I have to wait sometimes. The treatment has been good so far.

I had no waiting for either appointment. The doctor was very thorough and I never felt rushed. I received my lab results electronically. I was very satisfied.

The mayo clinic is known worldwide. Probably one of the best in the world. Superior medical staff with top notch service. They can deal with anything from psychology to medical needs.

They usually change doctors every year. They are very professional. We are fortunate, we get the executive health care check up through my husband's work so they can take a couple of days when you're down there.

They are amazing and provide great service. They have integrated care so every doctor knows what other doctors have with regards to information. They have pure electronic records providing very quick results for tests. They are very efficient and provide terrific care.

I like their up-to-date equipment and the know-how that is not available in your existing community. I think they are good.

I have had lots of visits to the Mayo Clinic. They are just wonderful. They have the nicest, most positive people I have ever met. I plan on contuing using them. They are considered #1 in the country for reasearch hospitals, and infection control. Everybody from the garage attendents to the surgeons pay attention and geniuely about the patient. They are very qualified surgeons and staff.

For some reason my PSA score at Mayo was significantly lower than the previous 3 scores and after visiting with Dr Patterson, I decided to just do the and quot;watchful waiting.and quot; Consequently, I had no invasive or corrective medical procedures preformed. If my PSA score was in the range of previous scores, I would have felt comfortable utilizing the services if both Mayo Clinic and Dr Patterson.

It is one of the biggest medical centers in the world. My impressions of the doctors there is absolutely first-class. They are the best, like I said, they are world-class medical usage and you can get any treatment. It is a one stop shop.

I went in a seen a few specialist and they're caring and provided me good service. As soon as I walked in their clinic building not only is it gorgeous and beautiful it's calming and their care is equal to their reputation. I can't say enough about them.
