I was glad to find someone to replace my watch battery after the local "Watch Doctor" retired. The price was reasonable and the turnaround time great (one day). However, I was disappointed that, upon picking up the watch the analog stopwatch function second hand defaults (rests at) the 39 second point, rather than at 0. Prior to this service, it always rested at 0. When I asked about rersetting it, the response was simply that their batter replacement technician is just that, a battery replacer and that's it; and I can reference the watch owner's manual if I want to correct it. It's a nice watch but a bit older and the user's manual is long gone. So, I will live with a stopwatch hand that looks odd and would be harder to use (will require math to calculate elapsed seconds) until I find a skilled watch technician.
