It’s been a pleasure working with Forest from the beginning to end of the inspection process. Scheduling the inspection was easy by discussing our needs with Forest over the phone and filling out the form on his website to book it. Once at the inspection, my decision to go with Forest was affirmed by his attention to detail and his approachable personality. He found many things worth noting about the property he inspected (including multiple safety hazards, including a major electrical one that even the seller wasn’t aware of), and took the time to explain it all in layman’s terms. For topics that I told him I didn’t know much about, he discussed it further to ensure I was understanding what he was communicating. This wasn’t the first house we’ve purchased, so from past experience with inspectors I knew the value of someone who is knowledgeable and also communicative about their findings; Forest’s willingness to be patient and discuss his findings thoroughly is definitely not always the case with inspectors, where some are there to just get the job done and do not concern themselves with the buyer’s understanding or comfort level. We walked away from the inspection knowing far more than we did: Forest’s discussions with us and his final report that he provided to us within 24 hours of the inspection will be a strong basis for decisions on getting the property improved from its current state.
