We purchased our home last November and still hadn't addressed the colors on the walls. The room I'm using as my office must have been a small child's room and was painted an awful minty green. I found Ginny on Angie's List and the positive reviews weren't a fluke. I had no idea where to even start, so Ginny came to my home and selected colors that wouldn't clash with the woodwork, carpet, or existing furniture. She pegged my style quickly and decided on a neutral wall color with some horizontal stripes for a pop of color. She shopped for the paint and within ONE WEEK the job was complete. Ginny was friendly and professional and even appeared to enjoy the crazy menagerie of animals I have at the house! I can't recommend her highly enough. We will definitely hire her again when we decide we're ready to paint/decorate the rest of the house.

Ginny Therrien has been my and quot;go toand quot; interior designer, painter, holiday decorator, and home advisor for more than 10 years. She is tremendously talented, creative, prompt, and perfectionistic. She is honest and dependable and always fun to be around. She has saved me lots of money by avoiding costly design mistakes that I surely would have made without her advice. Recently she updated a bathroom with new paint, light fixtures, and accessories. She selected a granite countertop that works perfectly with the older elements of the bathroom. Ginny also removed wallpaper in a bedroom, made wall and woodwork repairs, selected paint colors, and painted the room. She shopped with me for accessories to update the whole decor. She also painted the walls and ceilings in an adjoining hallway and repositioned old artwork in new ways. It all looks fantastic! For years I have trusted Ginny with all of my interior design work, from concept to execution, and have never been disappointed. Whether you are updating your home for yourself or for resale, Ginny's advice and skills will be a tremendous help. I couldn't recommend anyone more enthusiastically

We searched for painters on Angie's List and contacted a few people on the list. One painter did not do faux finish painting and another painter's hourly rate was too high. We chose Ginny because the reviews on Angie's list were very positive. Ginny was wonderful to work with, I'd recommend her to anyone. I certainly will have her do any future painting in my house.

I have had Ginny do a lot for me, so I am speaking from long experience as opposed to just one time. Ginny is professional and gets right to the point. She is sensitive to her client's personal tastes and gentle in guiding him/her in the right direction. Her prices are reasonable, she shows up when she says she will, finishes her work on time, and she is discrete and unobtrusive while in your home.

Ginny is an interior designer with a rare sense of color and an extensive range of design services. She is willing to help with home design projects of all kinds....from simply offering advice on colors and materials to managing an entire remodel project or to painting interiors and faux finishing unique furniture items. I have depended on her to help with several smaller decorating projects in the past, and have always found that her direction has made each project turn out much better than if I had made the choices on my own. Ginny's sense of color, her artistry, and ability to coordinate the design process was certainly needed for the complex requirements of my total kitchen redo. I credit her involvement with the stunning results: first, an unusual granite choice for the counter tops, highlighted by beautifully coordinated, pale painted cabinets, a pale tile back-splash wall, and medium toned wood floors. She guided me through the jungle of options, and restrained the excesses of color and contrast that I probably would have chosen without her direction. The focus remains on the spectacular granite. Every dollar paid for Ginny's design advice was a dollar saved in potential "excess", disappointment, and a future need to correct poor choices. My new kitchen is exactly the kitchen I hoped for, but wouldn't have without Ginny Therrien's guidance. She provided mainly design and color advice for my project, but she is willing to tailor her services to her customer's needs. She is respectful of her clients' budgets, their personal tastes, style, and their own level of involvement in the process. She will shop for you or with you, select and coordinate subcontractors, complete painting projects herself, or help you update and stage your home for resale. Ginny doesn't advertise. Her clients are all referred by satisfied customers, and I certainly am one!
