They came every week, mowed, blew the trimmings off the sidewalk and driveway, did exactly what they were supposed to do, when they were supposed to do it, and did a great job. I have no concerns and plan to hire them again next summer. The rate I am paying ($35/per mow) is with a Mayo employee discount. 

Everything with Shawn has gone great. We have actually never met Shawn, all the communication has been by email and he is very responsive. Each of the three times Shawn has done work for us we have been gone so our paths have never crossed. He does exactly what we have asked and lets us know the cost beforehand.

I contacted Shawn this past May after seeing his reviews on Angie's List. My husband and I bought a home in Rochester but were still living in Chicago at the time. We needed someone to mow our lawn until we got into town and weren't sure if we would take over at that point or keep using the lawn service. Shawn replied to my email right away and volunteered to send someone over to mow the same day (we were over due on needed a mowing).
Later that day I received an email from Shawn letting me know that they went to the house, but the lawn was already mowed. I was completely puzzled, since we didn't know any of our new neighbors. Shawn and his team continued to visit the home each week and update me weekly that a mystery mower (not his crew) was taking care of the yard. This exchange continued from May until July when we finally moved into the home. Shawn never charged us for those trips or complained about making them.
Once we asked the neighbor to stop mowing, Shawn's crew did an excellent job. They come out each week and make it look great. Additionally, Shawn extended us a discount on his original quote (without us asking) since we ended up using him for the whole summer. Talk about great business service!
Needless to say, when we had extra yard work that was over-due (like cleaning out weeds and trimming bushes in 3 large beds), we didn't hesitate to reach out to Shawn. He gave us a quote, did a 10 minute walk through with me to talk out what we wanted done, and went to work the next day. He worked diligently and now our yard is respectable looking.

The job was for a single mowing and trimming. Due to extenuating circumstances, all communication had to be done through email, and he was prompt with responses and courteous, and able to fit my job in on relatively short notice. I wasn't able to see the results immediately after, but best I can tell when I returned, everything was done very well.

Called on a Tuesday, scheduled for Saturday. Showed up right on time. Single man team. He was very fast, efficient, clean, curteous, and professional. He charged by the hour, and charged an additional hour for the time it would take him to take our leaves away, but did not charge additional waste charge or anything. While he worked he moved very quickly, and I never saw him take a break. When he left, he left no trace that he had been there (except for a nice, clean yard).
