Disons Cleaners - Rochester

We have used Dison's many times over the past 5 years, mostly due to location convenience and lack of competitors in Rochester. The quality of their work is ok, though they cannot seem to do much for winter road splatters on pants. Our relationship with them is now at an end, though. We took in our son's baptism gown (gown and slip). The bodice of the slip got destroyed they said by a button from someone else's garment. They said we were supposed to sign a liability waiver for damage when we dropped it off, though none was given to us. So they said the only recourse we had was for their seamstress repair it. The torn fabric (not just at a seam) was replaced with a fabric of a completely different weave, giving an obviously different appearance. Other damaged areas were not addressed. We were given a $5 coupon (though they accidentally charged us double what they should have for this garment -- $20) for our trouble. They refuse to just replace the slip and suggested we contact Greg Dison to resolve the matter. Multiple phone calls to him have gone unanswered, which is why they have lost my business for good. They clearly do not value customer service. It's just too bad there aren't many other options in town, though Nature's Best is equally so-so, I suppose. Prior to this episode, I would have overall given them a B or C rating. I eagerly await more healthy competition in town!

We have used another large dry cleaning company in Rochester and had our clothes lost. Twice. I love Dison's, especially the one in Miracle Mile. The customer service is great and turn around is super fast. The last order I dropped off was ready in 24 hours! I will gladly drive out of my way to visit this Dison's!
