Everything went just as planned. Scott laid out a schedule for the week before starting the work and stayed right on schedule throughout the project. He did a great job matching the new hardwood to the existing, and the finished product looks beautiful. Scott was very easy to work with and very professional. I would highly recommend him.

Superman Scott of CMS Hardwood Flooring to our rescue!  Tired of our carpeting and laminate, we received a spot-on estimate from Scott, impeccable workmanship, timeliness, expertise, an open and honest working relationship, unending status and communication, and floors we absolutely love, love, love throughout the main level of our 1970s split-level home :)  
Scott's attention to detail is really unbelievable:  care in working so close to our newly painted walls (minimal, and I mean very minimal, touch-ups were necessary), remaking a custom piece around our breakfast bar, offering to return if/as needed to help fit a newly installed sliding barn door, offering several finishing suggestions on retrimming and flooring transitions, completing the stairs AFTER we moved our frig back upstairs, refinishing a few scratches we incurred from the frig move, ... the list goes on and on and on.

CMS Hardwood Flooring did an outstanding job! Scott provided a thorough overview of the job and an accurate price estimate prior to beginning the project. The only reason the final price was a bit higher than the estimate was because of additional repair work that I requested after he started the job. He provided great communication about the status of our floors during his work, and helped us select a new stain color by applying several different samples to our floor. Scott explained how the stain would slightly pool into the lines of the parquet and how it would change color when it dried, which was great because we have never had a floor refinished before and did not know what to expect. Scott was flexible about his schedule so that we could have several people working on our place without disturbing the floor, and the final outcome is really beautiful. Several of the other contractors working in our place have commented on how good the floors look and we recommend CMS Hardwood Flooring to everyone!

The experience was perfect from start to finish. Scott was very responsive when we first called him to do a bid on the work- he showed up as promised and took the time to detail what he thought was the right type of work that needed to be done to ensure that our new floor blended seamlessly with the existing floor. The area that the new floor butts ups to the existing floor was carefully woven and laced in and it looks like it has always been there. Scott gave us a timetable for the work and he kept it-there were no delays, no missed days etc. He did such a beautiful job on our floor and it looks spectacular -we could not be more happy.  Scott is direct and personable- he tells you what to expect and then delivers on it. In addition, he  put up with our dog- made friends with him-and treated our home with great care and  respect. His quote was reasonable and it did not change after the work started. A terrific experience all around.

Scott was very easy to work with.  It was a bit complicated for us to have to organize moving the contents of closets and such from one bedroom to another in order to get all the work accomplished.  Scott was very flexible however allowing us a day or so in between rooms to get things organized. The floors are beautiful and we so appreciated his fine craftmanship.  He was meticulous and I was so surprised that there was very little dust or disruption

Scott was prompt for our meeting to give me an estimate. I didn't get any other estimates, but a co-worker who recommented him did get other estimates and said he was competitive with the other bids. He was very knowledgeble, and easy to talk to. He asked us what we wanted and gave us suggestions. After sanding he prepared sections with various finishes so we could see what they looked like on our floors. He answered our questions and told us what to expect. The work was done on time. The floors look beautiful.

He was always on time, very professional and nice to work with, extremely "picky" about his work (a major plus!), and his bid was very competitive. I wish that I had used CMS for a previous hardwood flooring project, and l have no doubt that I will use Scott's services in the future. I recommend CMS without any hesitation!
