BRIAN BROGAN'S ORIGINAL HRDWD

Initially we were confident in our choice of hiring Brian. When he came to provide the estimate he seemed professional. Prior to the work being done and during the work he answered his phone or returned calls within 24 hours. We asked Brian if we needed to protect the baseboards prior to him starting and he told us they would sand right up to them and would not touch them at all. While sanding the floors he left a black line around the baseboard (which had been painted white just weeks prior). When I asked him about this line he said, "I thought you knew that would happen." He did offer to paint over the black line. I stopped back after the next day to find stain all over the quarter round on the cabinets. I called Brian that night and he said they would use paint thinner to take the stain off the quarter-round. We did not see the floors again until they were "finished". The end result was stain left on the white baseboards in multiple places and also stain on the quarter round and a spot on the cabinets about 18 inches off the floor. The black line that he stated he would paint over was painted, but is still very visible. Also while "fixing" the baseboards he ruined, he got paint on the floor in multiple places. Since seeing this finished product I have sent Brian 1 text and called him 5 times (leaving a voicemail 4 of the 5 times) within about a 4 week span. Brian has not responded to any of my attempts to contact him. Needless to say we are extremely disappointed in the job Brian did.

.Have what you want done have it clearly written down and make sure to go over it before they start the job. They did not do what we really wanted and did not do it correctly.
