Brekke Fireplace Shoppe

They did the job quickly and professionally.

I was initially impressed with Brekke after visiting other showrooms in the area. We picked out an insert to replace an existing one and a new fireplace for the master bedroom. When the installers came they told me the remote for my fireplace was on back order and they would bring the screen (which they forgot) and the remote back when they could. I told them I needed the screen in place so I could order the marble with the exact dimensions. Waited several weeks just to find out they decided I should contact them when I was ready for it ( I thought it was on back order as I had been told). Then, we had several electricians out for an unrelated issue and they all told me the fireplace was not up to code. I called Brekke and they said it was an easy fix... just go get this part from the store for a few bucks and it will be done. I believe that is why I paid them to install it, it should have been done right and done to code. I have two more fireplaces to replace/install and I think I will have to be looking elsewhere.

Able to indivdualize accordign to customer's taste.

We are adding radiant heat and needed to have the fireplace insert removed prior to pouring concrete. Larry pointed out that it would be difficult to replace the insert after the floor was finished. He also told me that if he sold me another insert I would probably find that it created too much heat for the size of the room and the radiant heat. He suggested I go with an open hearth.
I plan to use him to add a direct vent and glass doors.

Brekke is GREAT. Don't ever consider Haley Lavish showrom, minimla knowledge, price.
