American Fencing

The end result looks nice, and the job site cleanup was very good, but it took a much longer time to get started than expected. Some posts not anchored well.

Terrible.  We signed an agreement for the fencing on 9/24/2014 with a payment of $1,800.  They said they would have to order the materials and would start work in a month.   The next time they showed up, without any warning was one of the coldest days in the winter.  They proceeded to pour the footings for the fence posts.  They back unannounced about a month later and said they had to reset the posts since when the ground thawed, the footings heaved.  They then came back and started installing the gates.  They said they should be able to finish the job by days end.  They were able to get one and one half gates installed, no privacy fences.  We haven't heard from them since.  I called them 4/28/2015 and they seemed amazed that the fencing had not been installed.  We initially contacted them at the home shoe at the Rochester Civic Center.

While all the folks we worked with were friendly, the service was anything but timely. We had to consistently follow up with them on the progress of our survey and install. We placed a deposit in early July (just prior to the 4th) and didn't have a complete fence until mid-August. We understood there would be some delay as our property needed to be surveyed, but very little was done on THEIR end to communicate with us. 
Once complete, the work was done well.
