Affordable Concrete has been serving the Rochester area since 1999. We specialize in residential concrete replacement. We also do light commercial and new construction. We take pride in doing quality work with attention to detail. If you have any concrete needs please give us a call for a free estimate. We can usually provide an estimate within two days. Brad and his crew did an excellent job replacing our 3-stall wide concrete driveway. Work was done with great attention to detail and to exacting specifications. We really like our driveway now...waited several years and saved up enough to cover it this year, since we knew replacing it was not going to be cheap, no matter the provider we went with. Much easier to clear the snow with driveway panels that are level with each other... Only negatives would be cost (but I was willing to pay extra than other providers to make sure the job was done right), not being able to pay with a credit card, and not being able to use e-mail as primary form of communication.

We have chosen not to accept credit cards as the fees are very high for high dollar transactions and they ultimately get passed to you the customer. So in short most like the average reward of 1% or so but at a cost of 3% in increased costs we feel is not the best choice for this type of work. We also get many calls, usually of which are more than we can handle and since that is a much faster, and to the point, way of communication, emails take the back seat. We do our best to get as much done as possible and phone is just more efficient for me with less time invested for same volume of communication. We were very happy with the quality of the work. They also cleaned up very well after they were done, replacing sod, etc. Price was higher than another estimate, but technique and quality was well worth it. Will use again for future projects - thanks Brad!

Brad is one of the best communicators I have worked with in the business. His individual work Ethic and the work ethic that he holds his team to is impressive. He was there by 7 AM every morning that he was on the job. He provided a quote for the work based on the square footage of the concrete, and although there were unexpected challenges that were encountered, he addressed these with no increase in cost.hey pays meticulous attention to the detail of the work, especially the angle of the concrete such that water drains away from the house.it is also committed to a high-quality result. The pricing is fair and competitive.

This company is well-run and well organized. The owner's understanding of concrete needs and possibilities for corrections rather than total replacement is excellent. I thought my entire driveway would have to be rebuilt, but Brad insisted that just the problem sections would need rebuilding, and the project turned out perfectly. That is exactly what should have been done--and was!

They called in AM and said they would be at our house in 10 minutes. I understand they finished a big job in the morning and because ours was small they thought they could get it done in the afternoon which they did. They were supposed to call the eve before and let us know when they would be doing our job. As it happened my husband was home so he could shut windows as the concrete sawing is extremely dusty. I was to lunch with friends, so I cut my lunch short to get home to make sure things were going as contracted. They did a good job and the workmen were very nice. Only a small problem which was, as they dumped concrete from their wheel barrow they left small cement spatters on our new garage door which I had to clean off when I noticed it a couple days later. Over all I would recommend them and if we need more work done I would certainly give them a call.

"We got done with our morning job early so I had time to do their job and I did call before we came over to make sure it was ok. And the husband said it was. I did not call the evening before because I did not think we would be able to get to it. I did not want to tell them we were coming if we might not get to it. Most people are happy when we can get to them a little sooner if we can. We did wash the house and garage door when we were done and did not see any remaining splatter or we would have cleaned it off. This particular customer was very hard to please, but I tried my best. Thank you."

I went there on May 6th. They told me what their company could do. They gave the information that I needed to know. They're very friendly, prompt and coming. They're very pleasant. They had it done in a day. They told how long the drying process until it's fully set up. They cleaned up their messes and make sure they didn't get anything get ruined.

The team came early in the morning and immediately had the concrete broken up and removed for us quickly. The cement was poured that afternoon. The crew was extremely Friendly and Courteous. The sidewalk was a tight space between a flower garden and the garage. None of the flowers were damaged they took care to keep everything neat and clean. They even pulled some grass up and replaced it to make sure nothing was damaged. This is a wonderful company.

Brad gave us a bid to fix the front steps and pour a patio extension out back to put a hot tub on. On the day of the work we asked for a second slab to poured on the other side of our back yard to put a shed on. All were done well, on time, on budget, and the guys left our yard clean and tidy. Nice guys, we would definitely hire them again.

Brad Bishop returned my initial phone call that same evening, and came out to the house the following day to inspect the work site. The next day he arranged for delivery of the concrete, and installed rebar and directed the pour and finishing. I am completely satisfied with the entire transaction.

We had a section of driveway and a sidewalk leading to the front porch that had sunk over the years. We also had a driveway that was functional but had some fractures. We asked Brad Bishop at Affordable Concrete to give us an estimate for replacing all or portions of the driveway and sidewalks. Brad came to give an estimate within 24 hours of my call. He described the work in detail orally and then gave me a detailed, itemized estimate. He broke the job and estimates down in sections in case I wanted to do only some of the work. He made recommendations as to items that should be done and those that could wait. Though I received two quotes that were virtually the same, I took his bid over the other because he had received good reviews on Angie's List and he was very professional. All work was done to specifications and as scheduled. Landscaping surrounding walk and driveway was left untouched. Brad provided services beyond expectations, for example, when a tree limb blew down the day before the driveway was to be done, he brought his chainsaw, cut the limb and hauled away the debris. I would definitely recommend him to my friends (and have).

Brad responded quickly to my request for an estimate. 2 days later they did the entire job in one day. They removed an ugly broken driveway in the middle of the yard. They replaced the old broken sidewalk from the street to the front of the house. They replace the old broken drive way from the street to the garage and they removed the useless side walk to from the street to the side of the house, with a winding sidewalk from the driveway to the house. Everything was done quickly, affordably and professionally. I plan to use them again very soon.
