In October, we had all of our carpet replaced and most of the interior of our house repainted. We were underconfident about picking the right colors. Our painting contractor suggested using Sherwin-Williams. Sherwin-Williams offers a program called ColorSnap In-Home Color Consultation. It costs $100, but they give you a $50 gift card (which we passed to our painting contractor for a discount off his bill). We set up a color consulting appointment the day after the carpet was finished, two days before painting was due to start. Felicia Koontz came to our house to work with us. Felicia was fantastic. She was patient with us and helped us work through the process. The colors she recommended look great. In a few cases, she suggested a color that we never would have picked on our own, but the result was better than we could have hoped for. In a job this expensive, having access to her expertise was worth every penny.
