LUNSETH Lawn Care Professionals was started in 2007 by Eric S. Lunseth after working in the industry for over 10 years. Eric started the company because he was tired of the abusive practices many lawn care companies employ for the sake of the bottom line. The bottom line at LUNSETH is making sure the customers are happy. The company was founded with 3 core principles in mind: Quality Communication Professionalism "This means you get a high quality, professional service providing you with proactive solutions for your landscape assets. This attitude is an integral part of how I do business and how I train my employees. After all, your landscape is the first impression and can either add or subtract value to your property depending on how it is maintained."

Fantastic work!! We have been using Lunseth for 2 years and our lawn has never looked better!! We have the greenest grass on the block and we never have to worry about our kids or dog playing in the grass after treatments. The staff is top notch, last week for our aeration the team took the time to move construction debris in the yard. I was very impressed as they could have easily worked around that small space, but they moved the lumber to ensure they could treat the entire yard! Five stars, 10 out of 10. These guys are the best in the business.

They didn't use sufficient product to control weeds or produce new growth of grass. I had to call multiple times to get them to return and apply more product. Still didn't work. They kept telling me that it takes many years to work. I bought my own organic weed killer that worked like a charm, much better than anything they did.

It went very well. My yard has never looked this good. To my surprise the treatment of creeping Charlie really did help - along with me also hand removing some of this nasty weed. The communication about when each yard application would be done, plus all the helpful tips on lawn care were excellent. Staff was friendly and responsive. It was so good to have my yard treated and not have to worry about harmful chemicals on my lawn.

The didn't apply enough of the materials to make a difference in the lawn. Had to call them back once or twice. They were not very helpful in emails and phone calls, saying that it would take years for the lawn to improve.

"Thanks for the review. Yes, our organic approach takes 3 + years to see the best results. This is because the corn gluten needs to build up to levels to have a good pre-emergence effect. We could do it all in one year, but it would be very expensive. We are educated and work closely with the U of MN on the best way to achieve a healthy lawn without the use of chemicals (I have a Master of Horticulture from the U of MN). Weed control will always be the toughest thing about a program that uses alternatives to chemicals - there just aren't that many options. We use the best products that work well over time. Our aim is to eliminate chemicals and obtain a healthy lawn that naturally works as it wants, with tolerance for 5-10% of weeds after 3 fulls seasons. Nothing we do is a quick overnight solution. It is our aim to answer all calls and emails with honest answers about our approach and appreciate your feedback. We are constantly trying to improve how we set expectations."

This family owned business is one of the best I have dealt with ever. The results speak for themselves. Our lawn is fantastic both looks wise and health wise. We wanted someone offering organic lawn care and they fit the equation perfectly. We would highly recommend them.

The work done was phenomenal! The lawns treated by Lunseth really greened up and there was very minimal weed reproduction. The problem occurred when there was a misunderstanding on the total amount of property to be treated, hence, all areas did not at first receive treatment. However, Lunseth was extremely accommodating and honored their word. Per the contract, they treated ALL of the land area! They are a company of their word, and they provide an excellent service! Their product and system really works!

We are really pleased with Lunseth. They have a lot of knowledge, they answer questions quickly and intelligently, we feel good about having kids and dogs in our yard, and (most important to my husband) the lawn looks great. They're a small local business doing really professional work. We're actively encouraging our neighbor's to use organic lawncare through Lunseth -- and when they know about the option, they're almost always interested.

Lundseth did an excellent job. We wanted to steer clear of chemical applications as much as we could and they helped us get rid of our dandelions and creeping charley with minimum chemicals. The lawn is also thicker and lusher than it's ever been. They clean up after themselves (even blowing extra fertilizer from the street back onto the lawn). The birds and bunnies love having an organically treated lawn and so do we!

It's gone great. For three years our lawns at home and at work have been as good as our prior service, using organic options for the same price. We have no concerns about chemicals leaching into our flower beds, which was a problem before. We get excellent notifications about when treatments will be applied, and the treatments are pet friendly.

Good, except the maintenance workers for my wild prairie area noticed some browning of several plants that they thought may have resulted from either spray drift or travel through the soil. I saw the results also, but the affected plants seem to be recovering.
