Keith Barton Tree Service

Actually, I did not initiate the call for service, but a couple of Keith's employees were in my neighborhood and left a card. I was home at the time, and had already done some checking about having the trees trimmed. They offered a great price (compared to another bid), and since Fall is the best time to prune, I took them up on the offer. They had to cancel an appointment once due to rain, but they called promptly to notify me. They came out at the next appointment time, and trimmed a very large ash tree. It had several dead branches that were overhanging the sidewalks/street, so I was relieved to have them gone (plus, the tree was under stress from the drought). They also removed lots of dead branches from a huge pine tree in my back yard that overhangs the alley and some electrical lines. They also removed all of the pruned debris from my yard. This work was done when I was not at home. When I returned, there were a couple branches they missed on the pine tree (a couple of newer employees had done the work), but when I called and spoke to Keith, he said he'd be out himself to see that the additional work was done to my satisfaction. He came out today with his crew and they did a great job. Everyone was courteous and professional. Keith also said that in the Spring, if I noticed any remaining dead branches on the ash tree (it had already lost all its leaves, so hard for me to tell) that they would come out and take care of it. Overall, great experience and it's obvious Keith and his crew care a great deal about their customers and doing the job right. I would definitely work with them again and recommend them. Note: Before signing a contract, I looked for reviews on the web and Angie's List. Even though Keith's business is not a member of Angie's List (his own website is www.rite-waytreeservice.com), I came upon a lone (and negative) review under his name, Keith Barton, and mentioned it. After speaking with Keith, who was unaware of the review and obviously concerned, I felt sure that the review was an anomaly. Since Keith does not have access to the review, there is no way for him to respond to it. Glad I went with my gut instinct this time and ignored the review!
