Dave was great to work with. Even though my project was on the smaller side I still felt like it was just as important as other bigger projects Dave does. Dave thinks about all aspects of the job. From the rough-in to how the paint will look come finish. His price was good and he’s very accommodating. I’ll definitely give Dave a call for future work.

AWESOME. David is the best contractor I know, and I have used many over the years. He is transparent on pricing and effort involved and works hard to get the job done on schedule. His attention to detail is top-notch. In most cases, he is more detailed than me. He is knowledgeable in nearly all aspects of the job, and if he doesn't, he finds the answer. He is approachable, easy to work with, prompt, and always looking to make the customer happy. Work included concrete slab, electrical, footings, assembly of the shed, service door & painting, landscaping (grading, sod), and crushed rock driveway. He put in OSD sheathing on the interior and also a workbench and a robust shelving system. This is the second time I've used David. First time was to finish a basement. David will be getting all future work I have, and I am already getting some more projects lined up for him. Looking forward to the next project. Warning: do not brag about cold weather camping unless you've been below -40 F. He trounced my measly -12 F camping tale.

We hired David of Fusion Finishing to assist in finishing/refinishing our basement. This project included refinishing the basement living space and bathroom and finishing other spaces to create a hallway and bedroom. From our first phone call to completion of the project, we appreciated David's professionalism and knowledge. He listened to what we wanted to do and came back with a detailed and itemized estimate of what was needed to make it happen. In addition, David was willing to partner with us on the scope of work to be completed so that I could both own a segment of work for which I was qualified for and keep project cost reasonable. He communicated with us regularly via e-mail, phone and text message to keep us apprised of status and to ask any necessary questions to keep the project moving forward. He was quick to answer our questions and to offer thoughtful suggestions in order to improve upon our plans or adjust to challenges encountered . He kept a clean work site and didn't complain when my wife stepped in wet cement (her fault). His quality of work is top notch and all subcontractors brought in were of the same level. Overall we are very happy with how the project went and would hire David in the future for other projects.

David was great to work with from quote to project completion. We had a completely unfinished basement and now have a beautiful living space, including a new bedroom and bath and a living room with a fireplace and wet bar. David's quote was one of the lower ones that we received, but also one of the most detailed so that we could be sure there wouldn't be surprises or unnecessary overhead. He was easy to work with when discussing our desired room design, offering smart suggestions about how certain things would work and/or look. He was very fair when we had to make design changes to the fireplace after it was already framed up. David's tiling and woodwork is impeccable, and his plumbing and electrical subs also do great work.

A great experience working with David. He was dedicated to the job start to finish, and I was really impressed with the quality of the work. The electrical work was very nicely done. I love the new lighting in the basement family room and the storage and mechanical areas. Don't worry about him going from job to job. He always made us a priority. Professional, knowledgeable, and has a good group of subcontractors. He is pleasant, listens well, and I never thought that he was tired of my questions. As the job progressed, I added more work, because I saw he was doing so well with it, I kept him going fixing a bunch of other stuff around the house! Definitely hire again. I have many more projects lined up for him! My only regret was doing some work myself and not having him do it! Also, his millwork is perfection. I have never seen such perfectly mitered corners in any house I've had. Outstanding. Thanks, David! We'll talk to you soon. :o)

David is very responsive and professional. Kept the work area clean and made recommendations and adjustments when necessary.  Addressed unexpected problems that happen when you remodel a 40 year old home.  Would definitely use again and extremely satisfied with end product. Call him if you are looking at doing any type of remodel/addition. 

Quality of work is excellent.  We are so pleased with the new look and feel of the house.  Dave and Matt both had a great work ethic and gave close attention to detail.  All the bedrooms look fabulous!  Our project took a bit longer than anticipated, but needed to be done in two parts which postponed the finish.  Pricing was fair and detailed.  His bid and bill are both written out in detail so you know exactly what labor and materials cost.  Dave is easy to work with and will work with the specific needs of the family.  I'd highly recommend Fusion.

Dave and Travis were amazing to work with and did really high quality work. We served as the General Contractor for our own large remodeling project, and Dave was great to give us advice and suggestions along the way.  They worked on our house from May 2014 - February 2015 and were always reliable, cleaned up their work at the end of each day, good communicators with issues or questions that arose, and did beautiful work.  We'd recommend them to anyone and will hire them again for future projects.

Dave is a first-class person who provided excellent communication throughout our entire renovation.  His work ethic is amazing; he's consistent, punctual and  updated us daily on what he
would be doing the folllowing day.  Whenever we had a question he was very patient and never made us feel like we were irritating him.  He's a problem solver who is detail oriented and our final result is
absolutely what we imagined our space to be.  We are looking forward to our next project with Fusion Finishing!

David was very patient with all of the issues that arose figuring out ways to fix and/or improve.  He worked with me during the whole project as I was coming up with more things I wanted him to do. 
I could see he takes pride in his work and he works very hard to make sure everything is well done and his clients are very happy with it.
He always showed up when he said he would and was very professional and pleasant.

Dave was awesome.  His estimate was lower than all the others we received and we believe he provided just as good or better quality than the others. The communication was open, honest, and complete.  If there was question as to the way something should be they would ask and give recommendations when necessary.  
They showed up when they said and they completed each step of the job when they said they would.    They were careful with our existing flooring and finishes and cleaned up their work area each day.  I would not hesitate to hire them again.  
Dave was willing to work with us to get done exactly what we wanted.  He only did the work I wanted and let me do the stuff I could to save money.
The estimate he gave was right on the money.

Given the reviews, I had high expectations of Fusion Finishing.  Not only did David & Travis meet those expectations, they exceeded them.
I am a very critical person, especially when I have invested so much blood, sweat, and tears into our new home. This was a fully custom home, and they were up to all the challenges!  David & Travis were very professional, resourceful, creative, efficient, courteous, and worked well with others.  And, all their work was done to perfection.
On the first day, they installed doors and molding around the doors, and installed some baseboard.  After the first day, I knew I hired the right guys to finish my new home.  On that first day, I was working with my brother & his employee tiling, painting and filling nail holes.  They worked very well in and around the other guys.  They were a joy to talk to, and they even pointed out and fixed a couple things my framer had messed up, when installing an exterior door.  They could have simply left it as-is, but they asked me if I would like for them to try and fix it, and they did.
Every other day was no different, they continued to work efficiently, with precision and perfection.  Any challenges were met with ease, such as wrong material, shortage of material, or a transom window being the wrong size.  They were creative when it was required, and  always completed work as I expected or asked of them.
I will be recommending this company to anybody and everybody I know!  If David & Travis had an entire company comprised of clones of themselves, they would likely put most others out of business.  When considering these guys to do your trim, doors, wood work, or tile, do not hesitate, and call them immediately!  Make sure to schedule them in advance, because with talent & skills & craftsmanship such as theirs in HIGH DEMAND, they could be books for weeks.

David was accommodating to our construction schedule.  He completed all work in one day.  Windows are square and look great.  New siding is seamless with old.  We did experience one little glitch in that he had incorrectly caulked along the outside, top of the kitchen window, along the drip cap.  I had to remove this caulking.  Other than that, we were pleased with his work and are considering him for other work in our remodel.  

David was easy to work with, did an excellent job, and charged a fair price.  His paperwork/contract was well organized, as was his work.  David did the tile work largely himself.  He was willing to add a tiled area next to the sliding glass door and tile to the fireplace (all in the lower level) to match the bathroom tile. We wanted all the work completed for a final family reunion before we sold our home so additional work meant very long hours for him.  He did great work and the painting company he used also did an excellent job. We were very happy with everything he did, would definitely use him again, and highly recommend him.

All of the repairs were performed in an excellent manner without any delay. I am extremely pleased with all of their work and they would be my first choice if I needed any repairs in the future.

Dave came and did a walk around for the estimate.  He was very quick taking measurements.  I received three estimates, all over the map.  Dave provided the only estimate with an actual cut list, differentiating labor from materials.  With this I could clearly see how choice of materials would effect job cost without bothering Dave and his team.  I wish all estimates were like this.  Clear and transparent.
Dave did an excellent job.  He had one person who worked alongside.  They both worked very hard, no non sense.   The craftsmanship was excellent. Casing joints required very very minimal to zero sanding / filling.  The painters also commented on the remarkable job and the minimal sanding / filling required. Best they had seen.  Due to it being a complete remodel job, there were other trades working in and around on the floor, fireplace and paint.  Dave was very flexible in working with the other trades to make sure the job was completed as close to schedule as possible.  Since it was a remodel, Dave and Travis came up with some very ingenious ways to work around the existing tile and counter tops, so that it did not look like patch work.
I definitely recommend Dave for future work. If all service providers were of this quality and value....there would be no need for Angie's List!  Thanks Dave!

Dave was very professional and concerned about our specific wants and needs.  The first time we contacted and used Dave, he made every effort to meet our specific timeframes for a very small project, and worked us into his schedule.  We have been very pleased with Dave's work on all our various, small projects, and because of the quality of his work, his great customer service, and his patience and desire to understand exactly what we want, we will be using him in the near future to build an entertainment center.

The cabinet installation required creativity to fit the exact original footprint to accommodate the 8 year old laminate flooring which wrapped around base of original cabinets.  Dave's finish work was excellent.
The ceramic back splash that Dave installed turned out beautifully.  The 4x4 diagonal installation required many intricate cuts and lots of patience.  He actually was cutting in the rain most of 1 day as cutter was set up on uncovered deck.

I think he done excellent work on my project. The tiling he done was perfect and he had some excellent ideas. I think he has a great future ahead of him.

Dave made the project very stress free for us as he took care of everything.  Dave was prompt, courteous, and professional to work with.  We had an idea of what we wanted and he worked with us from the start to ensure we got exactly what we had envisioned.  He was very good at explaining different styles of materials and recommending what would look the best.  We were very pleased with the end result.  He went above and beyond our expectations.  We highly recommend him for any remodel project.

We talked to Dave on Dec 2nd and he said he would meet us the next Friday morning to go over our construction ideas. Very quickly we knew Dave had a very good idea of what we wanted. We quickly recieved our quote along with a timeframe that amazed me.  I could have all the work done by Christmas! That week and into the weekend of the 10th and 11th I know Dave must have worked very hard to get ready for install beginning on Monday the 12th.  When I got home on Monday I was amazed at what had been done.  It was an exact match to our existing mantel.  It was like the new built-in had been there since the house was built.  Dave matched it perfectly and I know it was not easy.  When we saw the cabinets in the basements we were again amazed at the detail - the oak matched all the other oak items in our basement.

We are extremely pleased at the work that was done and highly recommend Fusion Finishing!
