Excellent company as customer service is great. The owner, Rodney Vivant, experienced a fire at his residence the day before my delivery which left him and his family in a hotel. He still made sure the cabinets were delivered the next day. I would have understood him not delivering the cabinets under the circumstances, but since he did that confirmed my opinion of his commitment that I experienced at the very start. The quality is very good and better than a Big Box Store would ever be.

I found Vivant by searching the Parade of Homes/Remodlers website - Vivant is a trillium award winner. I called and set up an appt. to go over our plans three days later, but was concerned about how much he was going to estimate. After comparing cabinetry and bids with another cabinet maker (through a GC), we decided Rodney's work was superior, and his quote inline with our other estimate ( he didn't mind that a GC wasn't involved). Rodney really helped us finalize our design (several times), and offered great suggestions that really added to the final product - just what we were looking for. Construction started on time, and the trim carpenter he hired was excellent and professional (at house everyday @ 7:30 a.m.). Installation took 4 days, and anytime an adjustment needed to be made Rodney was there with the necessary material. As with most constuction projects, we had a few hiccups along the way, but Rodney always found a solution in a timely manner. We love the end result and really enjoyed working with Rodney + he exceeded our expectations. Bonus: the final invoice was exactly as estimated! We'll definately hire Vivant again, and recommend Rodney to all our friends! Thank You for doing such a great job.

Rodney was very detailed on his plans and worked with us to make sure the cabinets were made to our satisfaction. They delivered the cabinets on a Monday and Rodney called Sunday night to make sure we were ready for delivery as planned. On Monday, when they came I discovered that Rodney's house was totally destroyed by a fire on Saturday of that same weekend. With all of that to deal with, he still focused on making sure his customers were taken care of. Most contractors would have delayed everything and that would have been acceptable by most customers considering the circumstances he was facing with a wife and 4 kids. But his attitude and professionalism make him a quality cabinet maker and a great family man of which I recommend to everyone. One cabinet needed some minor repair and it was taken care of within 1 day after delivery.
