Went well as far as the pool removal, one side of my yard ended up covered in dirt, but I understand this was probably unavoidable. Just need to reseed a little extra area. Job took 2 days which was nice. Everyone was professional and responded promptly to my emails and phone calls. Job was quoted similar to other contractors.

Provider moved a large pile of dirt resulting from an excavation project on our property. Provider was prompt and thorough. There was a misunderstanding about how much of the dirt to take, and provider and I made a good compromise on price for finishing the job, which they also did promptly and professionally. I would definitely contract their services again, if needed.

From my initial phone call to completion of the project was 3 weeks.

I used Angies List for this project. Krueger Excavation was selected for an estimate due to the positive feedback from people who also used this company. I had no prior information on this company.
Nate Krueger came out for our first meeting. He gathered the information needed for the pool removal. His demeanor was very cordial and knowledgeable. He was easy to talk to and answered our questions and offered suggestions.
When the estimate arrived we felt the price was reasonable. Krueger Excavation was notified of the acceptance of the bid. A date for the project was agreed on.
On that date (9/11/2012) the project went off without any problems. The crew on the scene were also helpful. They completed the job in a little over 6 hours.

The transformation was amazing - left with a beautiful new yard space and not a trace of the old, crumbling pool. Took a little time to get it scheduled but once we did, they were done in 3 days. They worked cooperatively with city inspector and did a super job with cleanup - left nothing behind. They worked well in a tight space and tricky access - their experience in pool removal was evident.

They were not the lowest bid, but they were well below the highest and were more inclusive than the lowest bidder. Felt the extra I spent to have them add top soil and remove my old equipment was worth every penny.

It was too deep for the equipment we had so they came out and finished digging deep enough. My husband was the one that worked with him and he said that he really liked him. The guy was very good. He came and responded when he said. He did a good job. He had good equipments and he was very fast. We would use him in the future if need be.

Doing an addition and new garage, needed the basement for the addition dug, the old garage demolished and the yard prepared for the new garage.

Nate and his team worked closely with me to get everything excavated as we needed it for the addition and the garage. They were professional, on time and efficient.

Nate, the owner, came out and reviewed the site and what was going to be done previous to the actual demolition date. He informed me they would start at 8:00 AM on July 13, 2009 and I could watch if I so desired. The morning of the demolition they were here by 7:00 AM preparing the house and getting into position with the CAT. At 8:00 AM I was watching across the street in my neighbor's front yard and Nate came and reached out to me, escorting me back to see the CAT backhoe take the first huge bite out of my old home. I will never forget his kindness and understanding on that day when I, for a slight moment, had a second thought as to what I had done to myself in letting my house be destroyed. He was so kind telling me what was going to happen, and seemingly understood the feelings I was having. Then suddenly the questionable moment passed and the joy that renovation was really going to happen took over after 30 years of wishing, searching and planning for this day. Nate and his men worked like a well-oiled clock, each knowing what the other was doing at all times. It was a marvel beyond belief to watch and see the perfect synchronization between all of his crew. The other gentlemen on the site and others watching that day were awed and astounded by the ability of the driver of the CAT to pick up, sort and place a piece of material, no matter how small at a precise spot. There were no wasted movements. Even to brushing off the driveway with a piece of old carpet, amazing! They did as little damage to the property as possible. The following day when I arrived and saw the work he had accomplished late the night before, it was unbelievable. His dedication to the job by staying and finishing that night and his work the next day with all the trenches for the footings again was dedication above and beyond. Nate and his team got the entire project started off with a very positive note and it carried through to the other workers. Everyone was very pleasant, helpful, polite and in general wonderful to have working on my home and property. There was not one negative among his group. The neighbors were also very pleased with the attitude and thoughtfulness of Nate and his men. They did all they could in making this project start off with a positive BANG!!! I would hire them again for any project.

Terrific experience from start to finish. Nate and his crew came highly recommended and did not disappoint. Excavators with significant pool removal experience are not easy to come by. I first contacted an excavator who was referred by our pool maintenance company, but the bid was high and the owner was less than professional. Nate was 100% reliable - we recommend him without reservation.

Nate listened to my concerns and came up with a design that would work for the hillside - and the dogs who would be navigating the area everyday. He took care in choosing boulders that had good coloring and shape for the project.

Nate is great. We had three estimates and his was 1/3 of the others. He is very punctual and professional. Nate also has his own dump truck which eliminated the need to rent a dumpster. I wish I knew Nate 6 months ago when the sewer main had to be replaced.

Nate Krueger is a true pro with a back-hoe. He was able to dig a 4 foot deep trench under our 3-season room, behind our air conditioner and right up to the house without touching a thing. One tree had a bit of damage, but, all in all, he did a very impressive bit of work. He was very prompt and fast, despite the work being interrupted for a few days due to rain. They worked late into the evening to cover up the trench before the big rainstorm. They had to cut a PVC pipe from our sump pump to do the work, and during the rainstorm, the patched joint on the pipe gave out. Nate came out, waded into 2+ feet of mud and fixed it. This was first rate service. The quote included blue board insulation. They installed expanded polystyrene (white and crumbly) instead but tore it out and replaced it as soon as I pointed out the error.

Nate was great! He was able to answer all of my questions, gave me a thorough estimate and was very punctual (even with 7 inches of snow that had just fallen). I would recommend his services to anyone.

I NEEDED (2) EGRESS WINDOW WELLS DUG OUT (7 X 5 X 5 FOOT HOLES). NATE WAS ABLE TO GET A BACK HOE NEXT TO THE HOUSE, BETWEEN TREES, AND THE OVER HANG AND DIG THEM OUT VERY QUICKLY, AND WITHOUT DAMAGE. BECAUSE OF THE WEATHER AND THE SANDY SOIL IN MY AREA, NATE WANTED TO BE SURE TO DIG THE HOLES AS CLOSE TO THE TIME OF THE INSTALLATION OF THE BLOCK AS POSSIBLE, SO THINGS WOULD NOT CAVE IN ON THE HOLES WHEN HE WAS DONE. HE WAS VERY WILLING TO WORK AROUND MY SCHEDULE, AND DUG THE HOLES THE MORNING I STARTED THE PROJECT. ALTHOUGH IT ONLY TOOK HIM 45 MINUTES TO PERFORM THE WORK, HE REMAINED ON SITE FOR THE ENTIRE 2 HOUR MINIMUM TIME, (HE CHARGES A 2 HOUR MINIMUM ON JOBS). WHILE HE STAYED HE CONTINUED TO HELP PERFECT THE HOLES, GET US GOING ON THE BLOCK, AND MOVED SOME MATERIALS CLOSER TO WORK. I WOULD CERTAINLY HIRE HIM AGAIN ANYTIME I HAD A LARGER (BY HOMEOWNER STANDARDS) JOB TO DO IN THE YARD.
