Total ripoff. No expertise. Company was hired in my absence by a caretaker who caused a basement flood, ruining thousands of books. Would have been better off leaving the whole thing alone and letting it dry by itself than hiring this ripoff artist.
Response from Twin Construction, LLC
"We are very sorry to hear you were unhappy with the dry out process the books were water damaged after the flooding and we made an attempt to try and save them as best as possible the books were put in a special chamber to dry them out properly but yes some damage had occured from the water unfortunately"

Very poor. Right after moving in I quickly discovered many problems with Mark's work. Mark added an extension onto the house to expand the kitchen. The wall from this expansion is now bowing in. I had to pay $930 to fix a septic problem where the shower and toilet would not drain. Mark also installed a very cheap aluminum door. At one point I did run into Mark five days after I moved into the house. Mark would not fix the door or any other issues in the home. He was also very condescending to me. At the end of the day, I just want everyone else to know of my experience before looking to hire Mark or purchase a home that he has renovated.

"Twin Construction didn't do the work on this house. We owned the house but we did not do the work on this house."

Spoke with owner Mark and asked for a quote.  He got back to me promptly and we settled on a time frame for the job.  I touched base with him later and we agreed on a date.  He asked if 7:00am would be okay and I said yes.  The crew was there as promised.   They laid tarp down on all sides of the garage and pulled off the old shingles and sheathing.  Since the only place we could put the dumpster was on the street in front of the house they had to carry everything from the garage to the dumpster.   Once they installed the new sheathing and shingles they used their magnetic sweeper to pick up all the stray roofing nails.   Checking later after they left I found only one nail that wasn't picked up and that was on top of a storage container I had next to the garage.  I have to say this was the quietest roofing crew I have ever seen.  They talked very little and kept at their tasks until done.   The only noise I heard was the faint snap of the nailer.  Didn't even bother the dog.

Our association has used Twin Construction for three years, doing roofing and various maintenance/repair work.  In all cases, the work meets and sometimes exceeds our expectations.  Costs are competitive.  Mark's and his crew arrive when they say they will, and their work is professional and well done.  Mark keeps me informed; deviations from the work order are never billed without board approval.  We continue to be very satisfied with Twin Construction LLC.

This company saved the day for me!  I had water leaking into my kitchen through the ceiling light fixture after a recent storm.  I couldn't see any roof damage, but wanted someone to inspect my roof, particularly since more rain was forecast and my insurance company didn't know when they could get an adjuster out.   I was referred to Twin Construction by an acquaintance and they returned my call within the hour and were at my house within a couple of hours.  I don't know how they managed it as I am sure they were attending to a lot of homeowners in distress after the recent storm, but I was very grateful.  They didn't find any visible damage so they surmised that the wind driven rain must have stuck open a vent or worked its way under the flashing.    My insurance adjuster confirmed their findings when he arrived.
I've had no further leakage since they inspected my roof.  Their responsiveness was very impressive and I will definitely contact them for future projects.

Mark  was awesome to do business with. I must say I was hesitant due to the poor review I had noted on this website.  However I must say my experience was great.  Mark was very responsive and flexible. (changed my mind a few times)  The deck came out beautifully.

Twin Construction was the better of the two companies that wanted to do the work. Their people (all mexicans) were here every morning and did work. We have multiple problems and they will be listed here. #1: I was severely concerned about the site cleanup, mainly roofing nails. Since they left, we have picked up over 700+ nails. I voiced my concern to Mark and he said they did an excellent job cleaning the site. Not only were there nails everywhere, there were pieces of roofing all around anyplace they worked. We recently had a severely heavy rain storm and I found my new 5" wide gutter overflowing in front of my garage. I climbed up the ladder to find over 70 roofing nails had washed down from the second story gutter and jammed up under the first gutter brace. The same thing happened on my lower garage as the gutters were not cleaned. #2: I asked the head mexican (the only one who spoke some sort of English) to remove a HughesNet roof unit off my home (it had to come off anyway) and cut the cable where it entered my office on the second story on the side of the house. They did remove the unit off the roof however they did not cut the cable, which is now hanging and banging my siding. PLUS, they DID remove my satallite dish AND cut my bare copper ground cable at the top and the bottom. Oh, and they stole the copper to boot. I personally installed this copper line and an 8' copper rod in the ground. They reinstalled the dish however they left with my copper cable, leaving my home open for a lightning strike. The mexicans spoke little to no English at all. Mark showed up from time to time. #3: All the shingles installed were done so that they are straight. Not so on my pool house. In the one area where it really shows, they are at least 1.5" out of line for 4 or 5 rows. Shingles have line up lines from the factory. This was POOR WORKMANSHIP at best by Mark's crew. #4: I called Mark this past winter as a leak had developed around my front facing SkyLight. His head mexican showed up and said the flashing was bad and they would return in the spring to repair. They never did. Mark now states the Skylight is bad (he's never seen it) and says it will be $650 to replace. He also states that the leak appeared to be from the inside. Again, he has never seen it and this is not what his mexican said. Mark replaced 4 Skylights on my pool room for a cost of $1,000 over what the insurnace company was paying. I withheld payment as I wanted to see what was going to happen with the nails. Mark sent an email later stating he would accept $800, but by then, things were going way wrong over here. When I contacted him via email, his response was less than professional and he was only concerned about getting his bill paid. I will be filing a similar complaint with Daniel & Henry Insurance. Mark was given the oppertunity to fix the issues but has now choosen to ignore me. So be it.

"I was back at this customers residence a few times, the yard and roof were cleaned up thoroughly. The guy's even went back and did a magnetic nail sweep twice over the yard. We tarp off the ground to prevent debris and nails from getting in the yard. His gutter's were brand new and were not clogged with nails. The skylights on his pool area cost $2,000 from my supplier; I included them in his price for no additional cost. All I asked was the homeowner pay his deductible. The whole time I was there he kept talking about lawsuits other people, some customers you just cannot please. As far as I am concerned I went above and beyond for the homeowner, but when he threatens me and doesn't pay his deductible that is where I draw the line and have to walk away from the customer. It's funny that all these problems occurred 6 months later when I asked for the deductible payment and not right after the roof was completed."
