Terrible. I had to buy another mantle and have it shipped at my expense. Over $1,000. The manufacturer was good enough to replace it at a steep discount even though the warranty was voided because they did not follow the installation instructions. I talked to Howard Homes and they said they would re-install for $2,500. I was willing to eat the cost of the replacement mantle if they ate the re-install. They were clearly at fault and they refused to back up their work. $75,000 project and they don't back up their work. If you are considering using this contractor, turn and run as fast as you can. If there is a problem, it will be your problem--not theirs. Not sure how they are still in business.

They're very responsive and they tried hard to make sure that everything would turn out to what the customer want. There are just some issues they have encountered along the way. Overall they provided an excellent service.

After interviewing 4 other building contractors, who were all overpriced and overall unappealing, we were referred to Howard Homes. From the first time that Dylan Howard came out to meet us from the last time they left after the project was finished, they were first class. They were accurate with their initial bid, came in on time and on budget. They have the highest quality sub-contractors and did an absolutely brilliant job with our remodel project. We completely gutted our home and built an upper level. It turned out wonderful. We we recommend contacting Howard Homes for all of your remodeling and building needs.
