Everything went perfectly. The sales person, scheduler, and installers were all all very prompt and professional. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

The person at the counter when I arrived found me sufficient lengths of the seal to last for many years, saving me repeat errands in future — much appreciated!

Installation was quick and on time. When it became evident that too much spray from the shower would leak out past the door edges, Minneapolis Glass replaced the glass panels with wider ones and installed plastic gaskets, which solved the problem. When we later broke one of the gaskets by allowing the door to swing the wrong way, they replaced it without charge. I don't know whether our contractor absorbed part of the cost of the replacement glass and re-installation, nor who took the blame for the initial lapse in design. In any case, the outcome was quite satisfactory.

The bid we received was definitely not the lowest, but the company came recommended, so we went with them. The salesperson that came to do the measurement was on time and professional. We were told the installation would be about three weeks after we placed the order, and that they would contact us the day before the install to set up a time. After three weeks, I hadn't heard anything, so I contacted them. They were able to schedule an installation about three days later. The installers didn't think they were supposed to install the bathroom mirror. Then realized they had the mirror in their truck. They also didn't have the handle for the shower door. They made a "rope" out of rubber as a temporary handle. We were told that the installation scheduler would contact us in a day or two, and we would have it by the end of the week. We didn't hear from the scheduler, so we contacted the company early the next week. We were told it hadn't arrived yet, but they would contact us when it was in. When directly asked, they admitted they forgot to order the handle. The handle arrived at the end of the week. There were no apologies for the poor communication process, and no price concessions for the errors either. Now that everything is in, it looks great. However we would not use them for future work based on the poor communication process and delays to receive the completed product.

Poor installation and damage to my ceiling header. They don't want to pay the cost of an Angie's List A rated company to fix it. Then offered less than half in cash. They don't even acknowledge the inconvenience or my time away from work. I just want it fixed correctly.

I'm not happy at all with the finished product I received. The installers snuck out without having me inspect their work. I found large amounts of silicone all over the glass. I tried to clean it myself to no avail. I called the company numerous times and left messages but no one would call me back. I finally got someone on the phone who said to use a "magic eraser" which also did not work. I went with lowest bid on this protect which was obviously a mistake.

I found Minneapolis glass on angie's list, and contacted them via phone. They had a sales rep get back to my by the next morning, and we made an appointment for him to come out and measure the shelves and give an estimate for later that week. Justin was very professional when he came over - he measured the shelves, and said he would email me the estimate by the next business day. I received the estimate the next day as promised - it was $200 to deliver and install the shelves (because $200 is their minimum charge), but they gave me the option of getting the shelves for $95 without installation, so we did that. The shelves are perfect - exactly what we were looking for.

John came out right on time and pulled the window in no time flat. It was 20 yrs old so i'm sure it was no regular treat getting the old glass out. No problem for john. in very short order the new glass was in, window replaced and its perfect.

John hung the support system for the glass shelf , cleaned the glass and slid it in like it was meant to be.

Looks better than i even imagined.

Mpls glass, or specifically Dave and John did great jobs. So much so i have now ordered a new glass shower enclosure to be built by them.

who knew glass could be so fun??

One side of our sliding glass shower door had shifted so that the glass rubbed on the track. On Monday night I sent an email to Minneapolis Glass asking if they could repair it, as they were the initial installers some years ago. Ginger replied to my email early Tuesday morning, saying that one of their sales reps would be calling to set up an appointment. Mike called us on Wednesday morning offering to come in that day at noon. A couple of hours later he phoned and asked if he could come in a bit earlier, which was fine with us. Mike examined the door, made the repair very quickly, explained why it happened (and why it would happen again) and showed my husband how to fix it himself in the future. I couldn't have asked for better responsiveness or promptness, and Mike was very personable and handled the situation quickly. I only took off one point for professionalism for two reasons: 1) Seeing that he would have to stand in the bathtub to make the repair, Mike asked my husband if it was okay if he "just grabbed this towel here to stand on." My husband said yes (his bad, but still), so Mike grabbed one of our newly laundered bath towels off the towel bar (mine of course) and stood on it in the tub. I was a bit surprised that, being that his line of work is shower doors, he didn't bring something of his own to stand on in the tub. 2) For some reason he did not leave an invoice, or even a business card. Still, I would recommend them, and would use them again in a heartbeat.

Good price relative to the other bid. Windows look good. The only concern was the holes on the frame they needed to drill to remove the old and replace the new window were not refilled with wood putty.

They made it in about 5 days, I took it home, and it didn't fit...it was very slightly too large. I took it back and had them make another one, figuring I would use the original for a display cabinet or something. During the remake, the original was discarded, so I asked for a credit back. They promptly refunded the cost, and the new door works perfectly....nice small-feeling company experience.

Contacted Rob Carlton for an estimate on a frameless shower door. Rob called back promptly, set up a free on-site appointment for measuring, and provided a quote very shortly thereafter. Rob did a great job of talking me through the options, what made sense for our situation(framing considerations, type of glass, beveled vs non-beveled edge, door hardware, etc.). I went ahead and ordered the shower door from them. They came in on budget, ahead of schedule(about 1.5 weeks for production)and the installation went very smoothly.

I had cracked a piece off of a glass tabletop. Minneapolis Glass re-cut the edge and leveled the edge again. They have a very nice staff. They helped carry the piece in and out for me. They did it while I waited.

Setting up this bid over the phone was straight forward. The representative was prompt, and polite, gave a written bid and left. The person who came to take out the shower tracked in snow, was on his cell phone off and on throughout the job, broke glass on one side which shattered all over the bathroom and tracked the crumbs from caulk and glass through the bedroom, front hall and entry-way. In addition, he was rude and swore. I had a clean-up job after he left. This was not a satisfactory experience. From the bid, I expected the tile to be recaulked at installation. Therefore I was surprised to find that I had to get another contractor to repair the tile. This may have been my misunderstanding, but the need to have two separate contractors for the job was not clear. After tile repair, a second person installed the shower-surround. The job was well done. The craftsman was polite; the bathroom was left clean with installation debris cleaned up. The rating reflects my mixed experience.
