+ -1 moreDO NOT TRUST TIM KOHNER. Tim avoids liability by having you pay individuals directly and claiming no responsibility for the work of people he brings into your home. The electrician Tim invited to my house was fined $14,500 by the state of MN because he had no license or electrical education. I felt like I was being taken advantage of when, after paying in full, Tim began demanding additional money without providing change orders and then abandoned the work. I took Tim to court and the judge in my case said: Kohner Construction was negligent, breached our contract and "had no right to refuse to do the contracted work and insist being paid on the additional work they had performed. They should have finished the work in the bid"
