Brian listened to our ideas, made suggestions of things we could do differently, recommended products & suppliers for things we needed help selecting (ie, a glass company, tile suppliers, carpet companies, color recommendations, etc.) He would also work hard to communicate with other contractors we hired (like our plumber, fireplace installer, etc) - to make sure the overall plans were in sync and no details were missed. He had a good eye for the overall project, and was good at helping us make sure we were thinking of little details and things we hadn't considered before. Our original plan was to just hire Brian for framing & drywall, but we were so pleased with his work and his competitive prices that we kept adding more work for him to do, and he ended up doing the majority of the work in finishing our basement by the time it was all done.

Brian did outstanding work finishing the drywall mudding and repair. Brian s work on trim, painting, laying hardwood flooring, stone work around fireplace, painting and finish work exceptional and I would not call anyone else. I picked Brian from this list and chose him on the fact that he had a vision for the room and could communicate that vision to me in a way that I new it would be perfect. Other contractors I interviewed were relying on me to tell them what needed to be done and did not offer any ideas on how to finish the room. I love the fact that Brian was there to implement his vision and ideas that were exactly what he said it would be. Brian is there when he says he will be and timely with everything he does. I would not hesitate to call him and hire him to do more work at my home.

Brian & his team are just amazing. You'll love Brian's demeanor & the fact he truly is an expert/artist beyond carpentry (just superb at everything). We first hired them for the wall/door tear-out & entertainment center area build (which Brain made special with his suggested arch detail) & drywall patches from the electrical work. We loved the work they did & upon talking with Brian learned they offered just about every service you need in your home. Subsequently, we hired them for several add-on projects. They were most accommodating with the schedule & their fees are beyond fair. Not to mention, their workmanship is stellar. (FYI, the bid for the entertainment center area was literally 75% less than other bids received & the outcome is absolutely gorgeous.) Without a doubt we will use Benzelock Construction again perhaps for our deck, guest bedroom repairs and painting or who knows what. However, what we do know is that when we use Brian & his team, we're going to get the best!

AMAZING! BRIAN IS AN EXCEPTIONAL CARPENTER AND A REALLY NICE GUY TO WORK WITH. HIS WORK STANDS FOR ITSELF. HE IS A PERFECTIONIST, BUT GETS THE JOB DONE EFFICIENTLY. BRIAN'S ALSO A VERY GOOD COMMUNICATOR. HE TELLS YOU HIS OPINION, BUT ULTIMATELY LEAVES THE DECISION UP TO YOU. WE ALSO FOUND HIS ESTIMATE TO BE VERY FAIR. WE MADE SOME CHANGES MID-PROJECT AND HE DIDN'T MISS A BEAT. HE ARRIVES ON TIME AND WORKS HARD. WE WOULD NOT HESITATE TO HIRE HIM AGAIN.
