BJ was very good to work with.  He was quick to respond and was able to quote and perform the work within a short timeline; we had just moved across country and needed the work done prior to all of our belongings being delivered.  The color options and quality of his material is really good.  Found exactly what I always wanted in a garage.  I'd hire him again for sure.

BJ and his crew were excellent.  I can't say enough about his professionalism and just general overall attitude.  He's the kind of guy you hope you find when dealing with contractors.  Courteous and personable and does a quality job for a competitive price.  I'm a project manager by trade so I'm way more into details than most people and definitely most contractors like but BJ was always willing to provide me with the information I needed and worked me through the process as I was discussing his technique of shot blasting (little pellets) versus grinding the floor so that the epoxy has a good surface to adhere to.  Like BJ told me, almost everyone's floors look great after they are done no matter what technique you use, but it's the long run 7-10 years down the road that matters when the floor starts to peel or chip.  Based on my research and follow up with BJ I went with his company versus two others I had been talking to from Angie's List.  The process took three days.  The first day was prep where the shot blast the entire floor and then put down fillers where the cracks are and then spread the first layer of epoxy that needs until the next day to dry.  Second day they arrived and they put down another layer of epoxy or whatever they use and then spread the flakes that I desired to give the floor some texture and again we waited until the next day to dry.  Third day they arrived and scraped off the excess flakes and put the final coat of epoxy sealer on.  While I was there on the third day BJ's crew had begun putting away all the chemicals and cleaning up the site as BJ finished spreading sealer in the garage which would have finished the project.  He was nearly complete and only had an area that was about 5' x 5' left and I could see he his roller that had the epoxy on it was beginning to run dry.  Instead of just trying to make the amount of epoxy he had work, he had his crew dig the chemicals back out of the trailer and mix up the small batch that was needed so that I had enough sealer where it was supposed to go.  Very professional and care about doing a quality job.  Totally recommend this guy!

He came to our house to give us an estimate.  We were impressed that all he needed was a hand shake to seal the deal. (We did ask for a written statement only because our neighbors were asking for information about the coating & the beautiful cabinets and it was easier to explain the process to them) We set a date & he completed the work with no surprises or concerns.  When we had questions or when there were two issues with the supplier for the cabinets BJ handled it promptly & professionally.  His work was completed on time with no extra costs. He was VERY meticulous and communicative through out the process.  He was a great guy to work with!

It went great.  BJ personally did all of the work and explained all as he went.  He stayed on schedule and added in items for no charge as he went.  He is a perfectionist and performed a first class job.  His cost was in the middle of all bids.  However, the other companies would probably not have given me the personal service and detailed work that was provided by Absolute Garage Interiors.  Communication was great.































I would definitely recommend  working with Absolute Garage Interiors.

He did a really nice job. The floor is nice and shiny.  He was very nice.

We had decided to use AGI to refinish our 2 car garage floor because BJ had a reasonable and rational explanation for the best way to do this job, and his price was competitive.  He sold me on his product and process and did not denigrate his competitors.  The work BJ did for us was professional and as quoted.  BJ went beyond my expectations when he checked the floor for hollow spots and broke out a large weak spot and patched it before applying the based coat and finish coat.  Th results are amazing.  I never expected the floor to look this good.  I would have no reservation in recommending AGI to anyone who wants quality work done.

The and quot;Absoluteand quot; word used in this company's name accurately describes my satisfaction with the service. Initial contact was highly professional and informative. BJ's explanation of the process convinced me of the superiority of the blasting technique he uses and swayed me to hire him over several other contractors. He provided literature and Web sources to substantiate his claims which in turn provided me with research I like to have when purchasing a new ( to me ) product.
My wife and I found BJ to be exceptionally quality oriented. His attitude and approach to his work made it a pleasure to have him in our home for this multi day process.
I have worked with numerous trades people over 50 years of home ownership and can't think of one that has impressed me more.
No hesitation in recommending this company to anyone and I already have.

Appreciated being able to deal directly with BJ, the owner, who was extremely professional and excellent at communicating with us and keeping all commitments. As prior coating was ground off, we discovered many and quot;divotsand quot; in the surface which raised possibilities that moisture was compromising the old coating (perhaps due to poor installation of moisture barrier under concrete when house was built). BJ spent an extra day with some additional testing for moisture problems, which would have likely led to use of a different (water-based) coating system.
After establishing we could use normal process, BJ personally stayed involved with every step of the process: 2 steps grinding and roughing the surface, 4 more steps applying the new coating. BJ honored his price, even with the moisture testing delay, and result is a fantastic looking floor. BJ's price was also a bit lower than a competitive bid I'd obtained.

I purchased a home with a garage floor with a new epoxy finish. Shortly after moving in the finish started to peal off and chip. Over the years the floor became quite pitted and started to deteriorate. After getting estimates from a few different companies, I ended up going with BJ and Absolute based on high recommendations from neighbors that had used him years before and continued to have flawless floors. After meeting with BJ, I was confident that his recommended approach which included a sanding to open up the floor to accept the coatings, made sense. I felt it would last longer than the alternative preps and processes bid by the other companies. Though BJ's estimate was slightly more than the competition, I really liked the additional steps of preparation he proposed as well as his comfort with dealing with the rough surface areas caused by the previous floor's deterioration and the slight cracks that existed. The other estimates were only for acid wash preparation and I knew that hadn't been sufficient with the original floor.
BJ and his team bit off quite a bit of work in committing to remove earlier epoxy and sand prep the floor. Despie committing much more time than initially anticipated, BJ stuck to his original price. My floor turned out so great that my next door neighbor ended up having his floor done as well. We were both impressed with the team's knowledge and workmanship.
I was so pleased with how well the garage floor turned out and stood up to the last two seasons, that I had BJ come out this year to do another garage floor for me in an additional garage. BJ changed around his schedule to complete the work while I was out of town. Unfortunately, there was a huge storm while I was gone resulting in water backing into the garage for the first time in the 10 years I have lived there. BJ located fans and stopped over a few times to verify that the floor and garage contents were drying appropriately. Due to the delay and the need to start dry, BJ and his team worked late into the nights after completing other scheduled jobs in order to make sure he was still able to complete my job as promised. He and his team went above and beyond in dealing with the storm issues and did so gracefully. It gave me a lot of comfort to know they were keeping an eye on things while I was gone.
I would recommend them to anyone wanting a truly beautiful and durable floor. They offer floors at different price level for different uses and purposes. At this point, BJ and Absolute Garage Interiors have completed a number of floors on my block and I have never heard a complaint. When we have had neighborhood picnics at risk of being rained out we have agreed to just pull out the cars and picnic on the garage floors. The floors get really glowing comments.
