Dave's Sprinkler Repair & Winterization

I hired Dave's Sprinkler Repair earlier this spring to replace a broken irrigation valve and repair a broken irrigation line. I found Dave to be a very nice guy and his fees were very reasonable, however, he is extremely unreliable. When he first showed up to repair my sprinkler system, he left part way through the job and told me that he would come back later in the day to complete the job. After he didn't return later in the day, I called him several times only to find out that he couldn't return to finish the job until later in the week. He eventually repaired the irrigation valve, but never repaired the broken irrigation line. I left him numerous voicemail messages, none of which returned and subsequently the irrigation line was never repaired. 
It's now October and the irrigation valve that he replaced has stopped working again. I called Dave and after 3 voicemail messages, he finally called me back. We scheduled an appointment, however, Dave never showed up. I've since left him multiple voicemail messages and I haven't heard back, so I've just given up. 
I would give Dave a resounding "F" if he wasn't so inexpensive, but I guess you get what you pay for. Dave is unreliable and flighty to say the least. I'd highly recommend looking elsewhere before hiring this guy.

Dave has been maintaining my sprinkler system for years.  He is very reasonable and does a great job every time.

He knew what he was doing and the price was good. He understood my sprinklers without ever having been here before. I'll have them out in the spring. They will open up my sprinklers again.

As stated, we are new to the area from Texas - the sprinkler system is different than the ones used in Texas.  We had two sprinkler heads leaking and when I called Dave's, Dave knew exactly what was wrong.  When he arrived, he replaced the two heads and informed me that the valve may need to be replaced, but he didn't want to do it until he was sure.  The valve ended up needing to be replaced but at least Dave tried to save us money and didn't just replace it not being sure.  I really appreciate that from a true professional.

Excellent experience. I contacted several irrigation maintenance companies, but Dave's Sprinkler Repair returned my call within an hour.  Dave came to my house the next day to diagnose the problems, which he did in less than an hour, giving me an estimate for the remaining work. The repair work  included replacing a valve on a non functioning sprinkler zone and replacing the backflow prevention hardware, which had been leaking.   He followed up with a return visit to make sure the repairs were working as expected. I would use this service again without hesitation. 

I described that above.  He called before coming to say he was on his way.  He was polite, professional and friendly.
