Some of the work performed by Unlimited Masonry was not satisfactory and when the work was completed. This was communicated to the owner, Sam. He told us to allow it to dry and if it still wasn't what was expected, they would return and perform the required repairs. Based on his word and handshake, I paid for the work in its entirety ($3170). After a couple of weeks, I contacted Sam and he agreed to perform the repairs. A repair date was scheduled, but Unlimited Masonry never showed up or called to provide an update. Matter of fact, I haven't heard from Unlimited Masonry, since Sam took payment. I logged a formal complaint with Home Advisor, and they were able to reach Unlimited Masonry, but they refuse to make any repairs AND aren't willing to go to Arbitration and let an independent party, review this dispute. The integrity of a business is its greatest attribute. I feel Unlimited Masonry lacks this because they committed to making repairs, and I now believe their only intent. THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN. Also, most reputable businesses would stand behind their work and would have no issue with Arbitration. The fact that Unlimited Masonry refused Arbitration says volumes about them as a business and the owner's character.

"This review is incorrect. I did not agree on making repairs in a days notice , but I did offer to stop by look at the job and get him back on the schedule if repairs were needed. I Stopped by his house and no repairs were needed and he wanted all the work redone. I explained to him a few times his 70 year old mortar was really weathered on his house and would not 100% match right away. When we completed his job we went above and beyond to complete more work that needed to be done then needed. Upon speaking with him, it was very clear that we were not gonna be able to properly communicate with him. We as a company have wonderful reviews and completed 100's of jobs for home advisor with no complaints. We just cannot resolve any issues with so much resistance from a customer."

It was more than a great experience! I found Sam on Facebook and messaged him to see if he was interested in the job. Sam messaged me back within an hour and we set up a time to meet the following night. Sam showed up 1/2 early to look at the scope of work and get some pictures to get a bid together. About 2 hours after we met I received and email with a quote. I asked him to put me on his schedule which was a couple weeks out. Sam showed up to start the project a day early! ( I had been looking for a contractor for almost 3 years and tried at least 6 other contractors which were all no shows). While working Sam and his crew started early and worked late to get the side walks open ASAP. They ended up replacing about 6’ of brick on the top part of the wall on Main Street and did a lot of tuckpointing where need. They finished the project ahead of schedule and on budget.
