WHOLESALE TIRE CO

I was having issues with my heat guage. It kept indicating that my Oldsmobile Cutlass was overheating but the car seemed to be running just fine. Wholesale tire said they give free estimates so we went there. They had us wait for 1.5 hours. After the wait, they said there was nothing wrong with my car, but who knows if they really looked at it? They had so so so many cars in their garage.
Anyhow, they told me things that I did not understand about how it was illegal to have low profile tires on my car. I bought the car used a few years prior and when I had routine maintence done I was never told anything about this. But this man had my keys and would not give them to me unless I paid $45 first. I had $50 left for the whole week to buy food and gas for work. He made me pay $45 and there was nothing I could do about it. Had there been a problem with my car, I would have gone to them to fix it but after this visit I knew they were crooks. They did this service without my permission and I will never forget this visit. I cried after and I will never in my life go back to that place. I have told everyone I know about that place and want to spread the message. People who work hard for their money and depend on mechanics for help should never be taken advantage of. In some ways, a vehicle is directly related to livelyhood when you use it to take kids to school, get to work, appts, etc... That is why getting ripped off by Wholesale Tire is ethically wrong and I cannot erase it from my memory.
