It went horribly. The entire contract took a year to complete and then it was only after we threatened arbitration and finally got a new project manager. After the kitchen was gutted, it took over 6 months before the last appliance was installed (the kitchen still wasn't finished). This is with no changes or delivery delays. In some cases the work was done so badly or sloppily it had to be redone or fixed. But even more relative to the delay was that no one would show up for weeks at time to do anything. The soffits were installed so badly that pieces of the fascia were literally hanging down, blowing in the wind. We were supposed to have weekly status meetings. We would take off work early to be there and then no one showed up! Not even a phone call. There was supposed to be 6 months and 1 year follow ups, but we never heard a word. We mutually agreed to terminate the contract early and yes the final result is good but it was only because we fought for every bit of it.
