MEI did an excellent job installing quality windows 20+ years ago; we automatically assumed their quality was still the same. We ordered over $8K to get 3 doors and 2 storm doors. They measured wrong and tried to pass of a 1" rise in the bottom of the door frame was "normal". Finally the doors got finished. A couple years later the finish on the door handle was deteriorating, It was behind the storm door. It was out of the elements. I got an"oh well, the warranty was expired. I had to contact the handle company and pay almost $100 to get new ones. So here is the Grand Finale - We took off the gear, look at the picture and see what we found!!!! I have contacted the company three times, including our salesman, NO ONE HAS RESPONDED!

Their warranty people never call back. Iâ ve called 45 times. They never call back Iâ ve written and contacted the old salesman and some of the internal people they never call back for warranty and I mean never call back.

They did damage a lot of damage to our deck and a/c unit. Their customer has been horrible to deal with and no resolution after 8 months.

Great experience from start to finish.

My project included LP Smart siding, vinyl siding and gutters. The MEI workers did an outstanding job with all the details from the tear down to the cleanup. I could not be happier with the way my house turned out. In fact, the colors, the precision put into the detail work of the installation, sealing and even the trim work is impressive. I could not have asked for a better team than Derrick, Lorna, Barb, Dmitriy, Roland and Kelin to handle my house with care. Thank you!

The install crew left a huge mess and all the windows were covered in oils and grime. All of the windows have defects. Some of them leak. I talked with the owner of MEI and he did not apologize or express any concern for my situation. STAY AWAY!

Bob has a lot of experience and helped me get my siding repaired after a hail storm. He was good to have on my side when dealing with the insurance company. MEI repairs look great! Thanks TEAM

Our overall experience was very good. The crew was very hard working and did a very good job with the siding and trim installation. We have a few minor callback items I have communicated to Lorna Carlson and she will get them scheduled. We will certainly give your company our recommendation should anyone ask about our experience.

Bob G. seemed great at first understanding the work needed for our house and promising to get the work done in a timely manner. But once we put our initial payment things had changed. He never followed up nor communicated with the office the work he promised which entailed roofing, skylights, windows and patio doors. He failed to follow-up regarding time frame and the office was unclear what work was involved with our house. Do not use this contractor if you expect good communication, organization and high quality service-- you will not receive this! Being in the architecture and construction industry I have had my share of good contractors.

We did our research on different window companies and we decided that MEI had the best price, been in business for a long time and had good reviews. Our salesman, Derrick, was great to work with and never gave us any pressure to buy. Cindy always kept us informed on what stage the job was at. Matt and his crew were great, hard workers, polite and cleaned up the area very good. We are very happy with our choice of Infinity windows and will be hiring MEI for any future work we might need.

My husband and I recently purchased a new entry door for our home through MEI. It is very beautiful and looks great with our vinyl siding MEI installed 6 years ago. We also appreciated the courtesy call they gave us a couple of weeks after our purchase to check in to see how we were liking our new product!!

The salesman complained a lot about having to drive so far to my location. sold me on some windows that were supposed to be very quiet ( I've had them for a year, they are not quiet at all). I told the salesman to make sure the crew that installs the windows do not smoke on my property, they did. Also they had a young guy caulking the outside of windows, he got caulk all over the windows. I called to complain and was told they would send someone to clean it up, that never happened. one window was delivered the wrong size so I had to wait 2 weeks for the right one. when they came to install that one, they put a hole in the screen and never installed the child safety lock on it.

Vary easy to work with.

The quality of work was good. But the experience was lousy. The first day the installers we asking me what had to be done. I called the office and asked why are the intallers asking me what has to be done. They said they would send out a project manager. No one came. The installers left and never came back until the next day. The installers damaged my windows during the tear off of my old siding. They tried to do a third rate repair instead of notifying me of their mistake. No one from the company ever apologized for the damage. If I wouldn't have said anything. They were just planning on leaving the damage. They did eventually repair the damage. When they did the siding on the front of my garage. They did not put on the shakes per the agreed arrangement. They had to come back at a later date to do it correctly. The installers said they didn't get the plans. But they still went ahead and did the job even though it wasn't the correct one. I thought that was unprofessional. When they showed up to di the window repairs. They didn't have a generator to power their tools. I supplied the power. What would they have done if I wasn't home. They weren't very well prepared. As a company overall. I just got the feeling that the left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing. The workers did a good job of installing the siding. When they knew what they were suppose to do. My biggest issue was that not one person from my salesman to the installers ever apologized for the damage they did to my windows. They would let it go if I didn't say anything. I never expected that from a company with a good reputation. There were also other issues. They would tell me someone would be out the next day and no one would show up. That happended on a couple of occasions. I would recommend this compay for the work. But for their professionalism I would have to say no.

Awful just awful. Windows, siding, soffits, gutters & stone face project. Errors made everywhere. Bob Gusso, Steve(?) & Greg(?) never return calls. No project schedule. Both patio doors wrong. Multiple incorrect windows. Leave trash/nails everywhere. 1 week project (so we were told) going on 5 weeks with no end in sight. They don't communicate issues to each other so u have to repeat issues to everyone & still get no where. No one there takes any responsibility for what they do. Absolutely the worst customer service. Go elsewhere. Get a small time company that cares. These people don't care

I really like the final results. We did have a misunderstanding on the trim. It was suppose to be James Hardie to match the James Hardie siding. They did resolve this issue by coming out and removing all the trim and replacing with James Hardie. I am very pleased with the final result

Took longer than expected to get Windows installed but the installation team was top notch and quality was excellent.

I don't really have any experience to compare them to. What I really appreciated was that they didn't give me a sales pitch. I had 6 estimators out and all the rest hogged up my time with sales pitches instead of just giving me the estimate.

Very professional. Did a wonderful job installing and cleaning up. The only concern I had was there was no NFRC rating sticker on the windows and I can't seem to get an answer on where the stickers went. I paid for a window with a certain NFRC rating, but I can't be sure that's what I got.

MEI had never seen our type of windows previously, but managed to remove and install 16 windows in less than a day. After job completion, cleaned up so looked like they had never been here. Highly recommend

MEI installs some of the best vinyl windows I found to be out there in the market. My sales person did not pressure me into a sale. It took me 3 months to decide, but I NEVER felt pressured. A couple other companies came to my house and used high-pressure tactics. Don't waste your time with them (high-pressure sales people)! A good window (in your price range) will sell itself! Lastly, MEI offered the financing I needed to feel comfortable with the purchase. My final thought/opinion - And I stress, not a reflection on MEI, but I would not buy insert windows again for my home. They're probably good for a rental property, though.

They were great. Very professional. Cleaned up when finished.

Workers installed 14 sliding glass porch windows and a new door in a day and a half. Incredibly talented and efficient workers who knew what they were doing. The door I ordered wasn't available so they gave me a more expensive door at no additional cost. They were very careful and cleaned up everything. The results were beyond my expectations and I couldn't be happier.

The windows looked beautiful when the work was completed. However, it was hard to get a hold of the salesman that I dealt with in regards to an updated schedule of when the windows would be arriving. The other employees that I dealt with in getting me the information that I needed were very helpful.
