Repair cost more than the boots originally cost at over $100 but the job was well done and will last a lifetime. It took several months to complete but I was warned when I paid in advance that it would take a while. I would use the service again and recommend the company.

Put heels on my clogs.

I brought in a purse for a minor strap repair and a pair of boots that needed a piece of elastic placed and new heels put on. I prepaid $40.00 to have this done. I was given an completion date of 2/3 which was more than a week out. I went in to get my items on 2/6 and although the purse was completed satisfactorily the boots had not been fixed as yet. When I asked when to expect them to be done I was told that they would call me. It is now 2/15 and I have yet to hear from them regarding my boots. I am not sure I would recommend them to anyone as I have yet to get all of my items better yet determine if they have been fix to my satisfaction. I also feel that I paid quiet a lot for the 2 or 3 things that I needed to have completed.

When I called them on 2/15/12 I was told that my boots would be completed within the hour. They were. They had also polished and cleaned them up beautifully. Overall my experience was long, but good.

Had a handbag repaired- it just needed some gluing. They did a good job but I thought it was a lot of money for just glue.

I've been going to this place for years, even when it was still in Brooklyn Center. Great service and work! I've never had repairs done elsewhere so I really can't compare prices. It's a little out of my way, but the end results are worth it. I believe the store's name is also spelled "Michal's".
