MAPLE GROVE LOCK & SAFE

Moved into a new house, had MG Lock and Safe come out to re-key two Schlage house locks. Very easy to work with, we're prompt, courteous, and knew what they were doing. Maybe a little pricey for a service call, but happy to support a local business.

Fantastic! Jamie was extremely polite and professional. Got the job done quickly and no damage to the house, which I know would have happened if I took care of it. Hopefully I won't need a locksmith again for quite some time, but if I do I will definitely be calling them again.

The work was done alright except the front door would not latch anymore. They also charged me $50 to make the latch hole on a different door slightly bigger and did not tell me it would be $50 for that 5 seconds of work until I saw it in the bill. They also showed up ahead of schedule without any notice and were rude when I said it was not the right time. Find a different company that won't nickel and dime you and won't act like they're doing you a favor for coming out.

Recently lost my key chain which contained 3 keys including car key, door key, and garage key.
Contacted Angie's list for 3 names but decided against all three due to cost, distance and availability..
Went to Maple Grove Lock and Safe because they were close (within 3 miles) and I had never used them before.
I went in to get a car key made but apparently my key has a chip in it so it cost $65.00 to get a new key. I asked them at that time about their charges to have locks rekeyed and they give me the prices. I went home and thought about it and decided to call them back and see how soon they could get out to do the job.
I talked to them about 11:00 am and they said they could have someone out that day and would call me when they were going o send someone out so I went home and waited. Due to another appointment I called them back about 3:30 pm and rescheduled another visit for next day in morning. They told me they open at 8:00 am and gave me no window but said they would call me when they were ready to send someone.
I received a call about 11:15 am they they were on their way which I appreciated because it gave me time to kennel my dog to avoid any problems.
The man arrived about 11:30 am and rekeyed 3 locks (including garage door) and made extra keys. He did all this in about 30 minutes and and was very professional and did not waste any time.
The company responded to my questions and informed me that they were bonded and insured which was also a reason that I contracted them to do the job.

The company was able to send someone out the same day, that I called and requested it. They arrived, within the hour time frame given. They completed the work quickly and were professional.

Smoothly. We went to the store to see the available models. Steve was very helpful in talking about the differences and helping us find something that would do what we wanted. The safe was delivered and installed in just a few days. I was impressed with the fact that they could bolt it to concrete (it's actually anchored under the concrete slab). The installer was quick, courteous and informative and made sure I understood the lock mechanism, etc., before he left. He also took a look at one of my doors and explained that I did NOT need a keyed lock on both sides and that they can install a deadbolt that's anchored all the way into the wall in the case where my door frame is kind of insecure. I always appreciate an installer who will give you some advice on the side. When I'm ready to change the locking mechanisms on these doors, these are they guys I will call.
