Jerry Mallinger is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. He has a lifetime of experience in the paving business, going all the way back to his childhood when he worked for his dad. Jerry has a serious work ethic and is serious about doing a good job. He and his wife and sons all enjoy working together; there's no lack of humor in the family!
They show up with serious equipment, able to do large projects like parking lots, or smaller projects like driveways, and they do snow removal in the off season. Everyone knew what to do, and maybe because it's a family business, they seemed determined to do work they could be proud of. The asphalt was compacted and rolled repeatedly, and the edges were tamped to create a nice finished look. They also pay attention to where water will run, and created the appropriate sloping.
I can easily recommend Jerry's Blacktop to anyone. A quality job done for about 40% less than the highest bid we had from others.
