J Brothers was simply excellent. I did a full kitchen remodel. J. Brothers was professional every step of the project and made sure that everything went right - and on schedule. I am thrilled with the final result and will be hiring J. Brothers again for future projects.

They did such a phenomenal job on our basement bar build out. From start to finish they were on top of communication. We got a timeline at the beginning of the project letting us know who would be in each day and they come to check the work after each sub contractor leaves. Carrie was also extremely helpful in the design process, if you don’t have the eye that can see what would look good she will run multiple options to help you find your perfect fit! Can not rave enough about the integrity and quality of this company we will be using them for all remodels going forward!

I would absolutely use them again in the future.

We had a complete remodel for our master bath including removal of shower/tub/toilet, etc..  A larger shower was designed and moved to the opposite side of the room.  We added a custom built linen closet, granite countertops, upgraded plumbing fixtures,  lighting, and ceramic tile. Working with their professional designers made it easy to pull the project together.

From the initial meeting through the final cleaning and walk through, Chuck and his team (contractors included) were on time and on task with good follow through and workmanship. I would highly recommend J Brothers for any build or remodel project.

Service and quality of work were wonderful.  No surprises.  Chuck walked us through the whole process and was very detail oriented.  All their workers are employed by J Brothers so no issues of a contractor not showing up or shoddy work that we, the customer, would have to contend with.  Would definitely hire them again even without getting other bids.  Their prices are very fair and competitive.

Chuck and Teri Johnson are amazing!  They were very responsive to our needs as homeowners.  Chuck or the job superintendent checked in with us several times a week to make sure things were going well and to see if we had any concerns or questions.  We had a schedule that was adhered to, and sometimes they were even AHEAD of schedule.  Chuck has chosen his sub-contractors very well, and they were all equally responsive and professional.  The site was cleaned up on a daily basis, which made it easier to live in the house while the work was being completed.  Our furniture was moved both before and after the construction. Whenever we had a concern or issue, it was taken care of.  We had an incredible, up-dated new space that we are very happy with!

Chuck visited us in May to review the work we wanted and take measurements for a quote. He sent us a quote about 10 days later, as promised. The quote was in the mid range of the quotes we received from other builders but were the most detailed and had the best explanation. He included a sketch of the work. Once we decided to hire j brothers, they provided complete plans and took care of all permits. It was difficult to get a fixed start date due to city approvals. Once we had approvals, tear down started the next week. Our only disappointment with the whole process came next. Starting from the first day of tear down, the crew only worked 3 of the next 15 working days. Two days were understandable due to rain outs but I think the pressing reason was that prior jobs were delayed due to the wet spring. Once the crew was there full time, work went very quickly. All of the work crews were professional and worked long, hard days. The were willing to explain what they were working on and answer our questions. J brothers also allowed us to make some minor changes to the finishes without argument. The finishing work is where we really noticed what a great contractor we had found. Terrific attention to detail, high quality craftsmanship, and easy to work with.  If we have another large project in the coming years, we will not hesitate to work with J Brothers.

Everything went fine.  They were timely, prompt and they're kind to work with.  We just like the way this gentleman did his work.

I got several bids and interviewed the contractors for this project. J Brothers bid came out about the lowest and he provided me with the most complete bid. Although the work didn't get done as quickly as I intended, they met my timetable and the work was completed to my satisfaction.

I am very pleased with the work and how it looks.  The work was done on time and for the quoted price.  This was the first service provider I used after joining Angie's List.  I was happy with the service and wrote a review shortly after the work was completed.

J borated communicated well and completed the project without delay. They leave the house project are vacuumed & cleaned up at the and of each day. top notch !

Chuck and crew remodeled my master bathroom.  While not the cheapest quote, I felt he had the best value in his quote.  Once I signed all the paperwork, Chuck was very quick to respond to any questions I had.  What really made them wonderful to work with, though, is there willingness to correct mistakes not of their doing.  I made a couple of mistakes myself on parts I was doing, and J Brothers fixed them without any asking or charging.  My project also got bigger of my own accord, and Chuck never even batted an eye.  The only difficulty I had was that they would say they were coming out one day and show up a couple of days later.  In the end, though, that was the trivial things that could wait because my bathroom had been fully functional at that point.

Mitch and owner chuck were main team. They were amazingly professional & communicative, they worked hard all day every day and they completed the work with high quality. Our neighbor all convenient OK.

I decided to go with J. Brothers because I agreed with Chuck's assessment of how much of the existing trim could be reused and because his estimate was the most reasonable.  He came back a second time to check the measurements and pick up a piece of trim to match the stain.  He arrived late to install the trim because a previous job took longer than expected.  This was not a problem for me and he stayed late to finish the job that day.  Overall experience was very good.

Final costs were right at or below the estimate. Quality work and attention to detail. When we did notice a re-do, they responded very quickly. Since our job were small, we were fit in among larger jobs. This caused some small issues with responsiveness but overall no problems. They did a great job.

They were professional, responsive and punctual. The quality of their work was good and they also cleaned up after themselves.
