Fair's Nursery Garden & Floral

The issues we had were as follows:

1. The work was not done in a timely manner as stated in the contract.

2. The quality of the work was very sporatic.

3. Seldomly was a supervisor on the worksite.

4. It was very difficult to reach the owners for questions or concerns.

5. We had a final job they initially promised to do, and they ended up refusing to do the work.

The dirt was not good quality, had lots of lumps in it that we couldn't break up because it is mostly clay.  We have used them before and forgot they didn't have good quality dirt.  Patio town dirt was more expensive but the dirt was much better.  We wanted the dirt for our yard to seed grass.  We couldn't get the lumps broken up.  Looks terrible.

Everything went as planned - no problems at all.

I spent about $5000 or $6000 on that service. It looks very nice and we got many compliments. I am considering him for a job in my new house.

I like their plants and the people who work there are very informative and they help out. They are nice and clean and the plants are good quality.

Ultimately, we decided we were not able to afford the cost of a professionally installed landscaping project that summer. The landscape plan has extremely useful, however, this summer as we have began a backyard renovation in small stages, working on our own and contracting out he heavy work. I have purchased plants for the project at Fair's. Good quality, helpful staff, and reasonably priced.

Called Aaron to set up an appointment for an estimate. He scheduled it within two days. Estimate was received by the end of the week. Aaron informed me that the work would be in about two weeks as they were behind because of the rain. Crew came out on time. Removed grass and hauled off. Added top soil to all areas. Installed the landscaping bullets we had and the rest they supplied. I was informed before they started as to what they were going to do and went over the plans to make sure everything was correct. Crew were very professional and area was left clean. I called Phil later that day to tell him what a great job they had done. He said that he was planning on coming out to check to make sure that everything was OK. Aaron also was very helpful in replacing my rose tree that I had purchased the year before that was still under warranty. We have used Fair's four times over the last 20 years for major projects and storm damage. We have always been satisfied with their work and pricing. We also buy our plants for the garden there. Their staff are always helpful with any questions or problems that we may have.

Once I was able to see a live person (as opposed to a telephone contact). I was very impressed with the work done and the efficiency and diligence with which the crew worked. My only complaint was that it took a long time to get action. I'd made several phone calls and finally had to contact the owner. Then thinks went smoothly and I am happy with the work.

I have used this company for eight years for the entire improvement of my retaining walls and landscaping. My neighbor was extremely pleased with the care and politeness of the people doing the work. As well of the conditions of his yard after the work was completed. The wall is beautiful. This company and Phil in particular is easy to work with, and constantly deliver premium work for a fair price. As the work performed was from my neighbor's property it was important that I had a company to deliver the results without upsetting the neighbor. Fair's nursery has pulled through for me every time I had work to be completed and made each experience easy and enjoyable. They are the best.
